I had a great time working on this video with you, Filip! It's great that we finalised this quite close to Ramakrishna's birthday celebrations :)

24:00 My favorite interaction with Ramakrishna and Vivekananda - When he asks for where is God? Ramakrishna responds: Show me where God is not...

What I have found is anyone who is genuinely seeking in whatever path that they have chosen, somehow comes across Sri Ramakrishna/Vivekananda. People have changed their lives just by coming across a few quotes. My dad used to say, if you practice and internalize just one thing, just one quote of Swami Vivekananda you live a great and fulfilled life.

Tat Tvam Asi

Love to see Advaita Vedanta and the Ramakrishna Order given it's credit.

All praise to Sri Ramakrishna

Thakur, as he was popularly called by his peers, lived a life of what Vedas have always said - “Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti” is a Vedic phrase that means "Truth is one, but the wise speak it as many". It can also mean "God is one, but the wise people speak of it variously".

at 5:51.. His childhood nickname was Gadai a name derived from his Given name Gadadhar, which is also a name of Vishnu. The name Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was given to him as monastic name from his Guru Tota Puri.

Following this channel have made me develop a deeper appreciation for spirituality and religious people. It's helping me to heal a part of my soul deeply wounded by people that used religion to hurt and humiliate others.

Ramakrishna has intrigued me from the first that I heard about him when in Grad studies in the mid 1980s. I find him to be the both a great mystic but also a great figurehead for Interfaith work - seeing as he found the same depth of enlightenment within so many different religious traditions. He is the mystic bridge across all religions. The embodiment of the saying "Truth is one, Paths are many".
Thanks for bringing his story to the masses through your channel.

Wow. Very few channels explore this deep into indian religiosity. Ramakrishna is a gem.

Finally Ramakrishna....he's the one that truly introduced me into Hinduism and really paved the way for me to "click" with alot of the philsosophy of different Hindi schools and their frameworks
I hold him to have captured the truest essence of the whole Hindu traditions
