I don't like either caitlin or piers but I respect them both for having this conversation. Unless the person in question has brought up the topic (and sometimes not even then) it is never appropriate, especially in a professional setting, to talk about a person's genitals. This is especially true for trans people, as it is usually the first thing out of people's mouths when they find out that a person is trans - "have you had THE surgery, when are you having the surgery?" Etc when what they're really saying is "what is currently in your underwear?" Which you would never ask to a cis person or someone you didn't know was trans. Obviously asking about people's genitals is obnoxious unnecessary and offensive

I like how Piers respected what she said and apologised, listened to what she had to say afterwards and tried to understand. Respect to both of them during that part of the conversation.

Ppl with too much time on their hands!

Suicide is not the easy way out. It takes a great deal of courage to opt out.

This is utter BS how a comment 'in certain areas' is disrespectful/offensive to anyone is nonsense
