Electricity exist in the Naruto world for the sole purpose that Itachi could do the pose on top of the energy pole.

Naruto's worldbuilding feels like playing Civilization VI with the tech tree shuffle mode turned on

anytime I see a discussion about technology going unused in naruto I am reminded that in episode one the hokage straight up has a crystal ball that he uses to spy on naruto and it is never seen again

I like how Kurama talks about nuclear fusion as if it's a perfectly normal thing and Naruto is just like "What's that?" and Kurama is like "Never mind bruh not important."

Also we have to just believe that war hungry ninjas with gunpowder and metal don’t make guns

The technology was always the most confusing part of the Naruto world.

Of course Orochimaru has a supercomputer. He bought it with the non-profit discount from the nearby village of the hidden files. Silly

I remember seeing that scene where Sasuke walks in after the massacre and after it all I could think about was "damn they all had tvs?"

The Naruto world is basically 1990s if people discovered superpowers and caused a dystopia

Naruto: Yea so we have this super advanced PC that can analyze DNA and stuff

Boruto: Behold! a Locomotive!

mandatory reminder that in the pre-shipudden movie land of snow they used horses, boats, crossbow mounted trains, AND a movie theatre

Another weird thing about security cameras, is that in chapter 1 the Hokage was using a crystal ball, not screens to observe Naruto.. So chapter 1 had introduced a surveillance system that was magic based, but then abandoned it completely to use cameras instead

In regards to the false assumption that messenger birds are more safe than sending a telegram, I remember there was this scene in Avatar TLA where some guards find out Aang's still alive and send a hawk to alert the Fire Lord, but Combustion Man sends his own hawk to capture or kill that hawk since he was hired to keep the situation a secret.

If they have summoning, then I highly, highly doubt they wouldn't be able to summon something to also capture or kill messenger birds!!!

And lets not forget there is a SHOTGUN in chapter 19 in the manga. Right behind the counter in that store where Sakura went. Imagine that guy just comes in during war arc and blasts Madaras head off lol

Also, does anyone remember during the Chunin Exam test, Kankuro installed a camera into his puppet’s eye to get answers?

kishimoto was really on autopilow drawing those AC units

I remember in the Naruto videogame "The Phantom Fortress", Tsunade calls Kakashi on with a cellphone and we were like "what the hell ???"

I can explain the absence of horses with almost 100% certainty, actually:

I like how in One Piece, Oda kinda prevented that a video like this could even exist in the first place by having the main method of communication being transponder snails.
