Saw them in the 70's when starting to hit arenas, they were tight, powerful, and LOUD! These three put out a wall of rock!

Myself and 80K other Topp fans, sweltering all afternoon in Memorial Stadium listening to Status Quo, Bad Company, Santana and that Little 'Ole Band from Texas.  We were cooked by the heat and steamed by the music.  What an experience!  A BBQ and barn dance indeed!!!

ZZTop, hard rock/ blues perfection. The gold standard. These guys are incapable of playing a bad tune. Seen them live twice in their prime. Best power trio EVER!

Boy,  Billy G. had that Marshall "thing" down .... what a super juicy tone.  Those were the days of trend-setters.
