Felipe Ballester Molina grew up in a Catholic family, but during his youth, God became just another box in a life focused on friends, travel, parties, and especially professional success. Convinced that happiness would come from achieving his grand goals, he turned to entrepreneurship and developed a blockchain-based technology company that secured $22 million in investment. He achieved what he had pursued—business, money, a house, a car, and travel—but discovered he still felt profoundly empty. The end of a romantic relationship led him to an existential crisis in which he questioned the point of continuing like this. Desperate, he prayed: “Lord, if you are here, show me, because I can’t go on like this anymore.” There began an encounter with Christ that would completely transform his priorities. Felipe understood that behind all those pursuits, he had been trying to fill a void that, for him, only God could fill. Thus began a process of reconversion marked by the Eucharist, the Holy Spirit, the Theology of the Body, and the discovery of the saints. He also felt he had to detach himself from what he had made the center of his life and put his professional talents at the service of God. From this experience, Project Square Meter was born, a community aimed at Catholic professionals, business owners, entrepreneurs, and investors who want to integrate faith with their work. Its approach revolves around four dimensions—God, neighbor and family, oneself, and work—with a central conviction: growth, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation do not have to be separate from spiritual life, but can also become a way to serve and glorify God.
