How professional! Respect! It’s rare we can see such professionalism and calm responsible experts these days!

He did an amazing job landing the plane that day. And everyone survived.  And the cast who played the flight crew did an amazing job with the movie.  Including Tom Hanks as his role as Sully.

Unbelievable. This guy new he could land that plane in the water. No fear just confidence. The people on that plan dont realize how lucky they were to have that pilot......hes a one in a million

Undoubtly he was the man! 9:36 brought me tears when he said  "I was sure I could do it." This is probably what a great pilot would say to himself.  The landing was a very impressive and skill-required.

what a fantastic pilot this guy is.

So much respect for this man!

Watching The Footage of This Crash i Was Very Surprised The Plane Stayed in 1 Piece...They Hit The Water Pretty Fast and Hard...LEGENDARY Water Landing

Lol "I would imagine someone in back was taking care of that for me while I was flying the plane". Amen!  The Captain did not waste time and did not panick. As he says in this interview that he had to solve this situation/problem. God put this person and his Crew @ the right place and time. We are thankful for their Heroic efforts.

Wow!!! Captain Sully’s wisdom was amazing! God bless him!!!

The captain is so humble and doesn't even  know he's a bad ass.

His confidence is no surprise.. pilots are some of the most confident people I’ve ever met.

Mr Sulley you are an amazing pilot and human being. I remember seeing all those people standing on those wings and I thought how did he land that plane so well that people survived. All of them.
17 years later and I tear up knowing what could have been instead be abuse of of this man’s quick thinking and excellent piloting of this plane.

I wish they would stop using the word CRASHED in the Hudson.   It made an emergency landing because of the birds strike.

This man is such a hero, obviously he had the experience you pray all pilots have in the event of a catastrophic event just like this one, I know he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s recently, but I would still fly with him, the amount of experience he has , his reactions would be completely natural, instinctive there are not enough men/pilots like Sully anymore 😢

he is now my role model.

Just FYI that Ethiopian airliner was being hijacked and the pilot was fighting for control.

You know you are in trouble when the cockpit smells like KFC.

Amazing

video vraiment trés emouvante !!! A regarder au plus vite :')

The captain mentions the burnt bird smell coming out of the engines coming into the cabin; that's horrible as is the results.
