Great video! I had this on the Amstrad - Poldergeist was replaced with 3D Starfighter.. I used to nicknake it Quattro Oliver Twins as all of the titles were coded by the Oliver Twins (they created 3D Starfighter and coded the CPC version of Fruit Machine Simulator). My late mother spent a lot of time on Pinball Sim back in the day. But talking of the C64 version of Pinball, it had a great catchy tune.

Brody is a good dog

Always great value for money and normally at least a couple of great games per collection

Great to see Brody again! Those eyes and that tail! Must be hard to get anything done with him around :) Definitely a good value compilation with something for everyone.

Four pretty solid games for the money here, and did represent good value.  Poltergeist is very hard, but it's a well programmed shoot-em-up that is good fun.  Advanced Pinball Simulator works well and despite some of the graphics being a port, at least others were enhanced, and the ball movement is reasonable and does play well.  Grand Prix Simulator 2 is more of the same from the first one (even the same speech!) but okay, and Fruit Machine Simulator can be a little pointless to play - but it works fine, and has an eatly Matt Gray soundtrack to boot.

I remember having one of the QUATTRO game tapes from CodeMasters for the Commodore 64.

But it wasn't this one...
it was the other with FAST FOOD and
PINBALL SIMULATOR.

And hey, why pay more 😹👍🕹️?

Also, THE FUN STARTS HERE 😺👍🕹️.

Another big retrospective like 👍🕹️
from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.

Nice vid. I need to play some more of the Quattros. Those Grand Prix 2 cars are definitely an upgrade on the bricks from the first game. 2 games with mad back stories in there too. The whole poltergeist thing tacked on to a space shooter made me laugh 😂

Looks decent - a 7 and 8 rated game on the compilation for budget price must have made it a good buy back then.  I do have quite a few Quattros but haven't got round to covering them yet - I look forward to giving this one a go though.  I agree about the money factor for the fruit machines, but maybe if you weren't old enough to gamble it was a bit of 'grown up' fun.

That looks a good value package indeed. Poltergeist is very impressive. The pinball one is decent, but I've rediscovered Slamball, a multi-screen pinball game which I think is the the same one I lost hours and hours to back in the 80s, so addictive. The odd thing was, it didn't seem as familiar a I'd expected, but 40 years of alcohol abuse can do that to one's memory I suppose!

It's quite funny, the Poltergeist artwork never really fitted the game - that would have been better suited to Ghost Hunters! I enjoyed Poltergeist; once you learn how to press the keys for the weapon systems, it gets easier. (Advanced) Pinball Simulator is alright; I like the music and jingles (one reminds me of the Are You Being Served theme tune!), but unfortunately the physics simulation isn't great. I would often get frustrated by not being able to hit particular targets. Grand Prix 2 is awful; I call the original Screeching Shoebox Simulator, and this is worse because of how uncontrollable the cars are! I was never into slot machine games as there seems to be little point in trying to win virtual coins. Fruit Machine Simulator is a very average version and not worth bothering with. (The only one I really enjoyed was Fruitbank/Super Nudge 2000 from Mastertronic, with its great music and good presentation.) To my mind, this wasn't great value because of a couple of very average titles.

I think Brody made the right choice, nice compilation! At least that Quattro Adventure pack isn't made up of text adventures eh?...

I voted for Quattro Racers but, I can't argue with the selection criteria 😂

For me, only two out of the 4 are playable in terms or replay value. Of those, with GPSim 2 the cars are too big compared to the original, so it feels more like Go-Kart racing. This makes the tracks feel very narrow and spoils it. Which leaves Poltergeist, a very average mindless shooter with no health bar as you say. So consider those factors I'd give it 45%. Certainly not on par with collections like my trusty Hit Pak: 6 Pak.

Quattro Adventure isn't Four Adventure games it's Dizzy, Ghosthunters, Vampire & one other game.
