"At this point I will take anything" Is a dangerous sentence for this game, they'll do the absolute minimum & call it a day

You know what sucks even more? The fact that even before HSR, ZZZ, or even Genshin existed, Hoyo is able to put a lot of these QOLs (skip button, gear loadouts, etc.) in their older game, HONKAI IMPACT 3RD! Makes you think that they really hate Genshin and its players.

It is so wild, that Honkai Star Rail has the majority of those feature since the beginning and they even updated & improved them.

I don’t play Genshin Anymore, but I am still annoyed that the game still doesn’t have an actual skip button.

Forcing people to do quest with no skip button is the peak of a company being out of touch with the players

Skip button is the QoL feature i want the most in Genshin. Just don’t waste my time with yaps. Let me skip. I will just watch stories and archon quests on Youtube. Let me skip the parts i don’t enjoy so i can spend more time on features i love.

What Glaive failed to mention about the skip dialogue is that "some" lines you STILL have to sit through before you can skip ahead. For example right before you get an answer prompt. But there also times where the diamond just does not appear until the text is done appearing. Keep in mind this with the newer quests, not the old ones. Yeah, you can skip "some" of the dialogue immediately, but the dialogue that Hoyo deems important, you still cannot skip! This was a very lazy implemention. You can get angry at me for saying this, but that's just what it is.

Hoyo chose to make an entirely new MMORPG game than to make a skip button for genshin.

The holy trinity of popular missing qol: resin overflow, skip button, artifact loadouts.

My favourite… for each banner you can pick one of the three featured four stars as your preferred four star and the first four star you get in that banner will be that one. This avoids the current problem that no matter how many wishes you spend on a banner you can’t get a specific featured four star guaranteed.

15:58  I'm using Google Translate, so I apologize if there are any inaccuracies in this message.
No, we're not on the same team. I've spoken with these "defenders," and they're lost. They've come up with the idea that Genshin is already perfect in every way. That only "kids who don't like to read" ask for the skip button, that there's enough resin for everything, and that Stygian Onslaught can be easily completed on difficulty 5 with 4* characters, it just you "you're low-skill." I wish I could say that my encounter with such people was isolated or just a joke. But no. It's true. Hoyo has managed to train some players to encourage and protect their laziness.

The last time I tried Genshin was when Nod-Krai dropped. I had quit after finishing all the Natlan main quests because I felt disappointed, but I forced myself to give the game another try.

Then I got NOte saying I needed to play a certain quest to fully understand the story in Nod-Krai, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I searched Google and found out it was an event quest that had been removed after the event ended.

Like, WTF? You made an important story quest an event quest and then removed it from the game? I uninstalled the game again and haven’t touched it since.
Maybe they’ve fixed it by now, but honestly, I just don’t care anymore...

As a new player, I can't build any Snezsnya characters because the region is locked behind an archon quest, and if I do it early, I will be spoiled.

Hoyo listened to players like me, then told us to F-off.

I was a hard core Genshin player for around 4 years.  Every live stream reminds me of why I quit and convinces me not to come back.

A lot of great games with great stories always have skip dialogue button. Because the devs know that their stories are actually good and engaging, so people are not incentivized to skip it in the first place. But should anyone needs it, the skip button will always be there.

Is been 6 years and you never learn
Deaf doesn't listen

One thing they recently added was keyboard menu navigation...... For some things.... You can craft by pressing F, but you still need to use the mouse to dismiss the crafting result popup, which is dumbfounding. Why it is that everything the Genshin team does is so unbelievable half assed? Everything is so inconsistent.

Like, Snezhnaya banned alchemy but you have a bench in your train, but there's no way to quickly teleport to the train to craft. And if for some reason the train despawned you have to go to a station, walk to the metal platform, call Goggles, summon the train and wait for it to slowly roll in.

At this point I'm just going to Liyue to craft.

genshin be doing anything and ppl just be saying its peak💔

One of the main reasons I would stop pulling for new characters was the time to build them. Having limited time to actually play, it made little sense. So you end up with incomplete builds and teams because it’s too much to actually build them. In wuwa I’d pull a character and have them built within 2 weeks and can actually enjoy them within the content
