I love that you put "advertisement" in the top left for the whole video. Kudos on the transparency!

I had the same feeling when shooting with the X2D2. It feels like a camera to take to the end of the world and shoot something epic

Love the review! Would be more useful to see the actual F stop and shutter speed next to the images :)

I would take the Q to Porte Fino, the mazing full frame X system is for artistic projects, where scenes are created from the scratch up by the photographer and his assistances. Nice review, honest and heartwarming. I wish Hasselblad would send me a test camera to use on my next project but I live in a country doomed by wars and conflicts unfortunatel… the X2D and the 35-100 is a system that I would love with for the rest of my life.

Do you get to keep the camera?

Tobis Tings and R2D2 🤣
Great video! Thank you for sharing your experience 😀

With those large image files: What is your file management strategy? No matter if storage is cheap or not, someday that will fill up quite fast even though with culling and deleting photos that are not worth it to keep.

Going to order one myself with the 35-100 or the 38 and 55

Echt Deutsch, hab gern.   Yes, it is a lot of camera.  It will always be so wherever you take it.  Why bring second class when you have first?  The 907 is nice but this Schnecke is so easy to use and facile.  To me it is a no-brainer to schlep along.  Yes, other cameras are smaller and more nimble but none of them have the lenses and HNCS.

Vielen Dank und Tschuess

BTW, does anyone use the camera strap?

Great review. Hasselblad was smart to send this great camera to you!

The X2DII with that zoom is quite huge, especially when you hold it next to the Sony. I would much rather go with the 907/100 primarily for the form factor.

Love it, a true German description of Italian Drivers?

I’m clearly not the only one to realise that Hasselblad are giving these cameras and lenses away like candy as part of their promotion. Not knocking your video as you’ve taken some great shots and explained the camera well. The X2DII is a great bit of kit, but also, so is the older X2D it replaces. Personally, I took advantage of people ‘giving up’ their old (obsolete) mark I models to get the mark II. In doing so, I saved a ton of money which I put into the 35-100 which like so many others, I had to wait weeks for. Worth noting also that some of the ‘P’ lenses offer Hasselblad quality at a fraction of the price of the V and E series lenses. I picked up a used 28mm f4 XCD which is great for street and landscape when I don’t want to be carting the 35-100 around. The 45p is also a bargain lens which I haven’t tried yet. So, there are cheaper ways to get into the HB system if you’re not lucky enough to have a YouTube channel and HB sponsorship.

So... this is the best Camera in the world (9.:06). Phase One, gift this man a Camera... ASAP!

Very good video and well explained congratulations.          I have a question: Do you think this camera is suitable for landscape and urban portrait photography, so that I can print photos in fine art Photography

@4:47 Just when I was about to click off this video I hear "360 No-Scope Style." Ok sir, nevermind, I'll hear you out. 🤣

That is a lot of money for an Overkill!!

Well those action shots with the bikes are a waste not useable. Love the new version but still can’t compete against the gfx100 I

I think Hasselblad is giving away a lot of XD2 II cameras as part of the promotion. I don't understand why I haven't received one. I can't buy one either because it's not available in any stores. So, Hasselblad executives, I'm waiting for your gift.

Those x-pan super panos look fabulous 👀
