Bragging about peeing while lifting reminds me of runners who brag about throwing up after a race—like babes that’s not an accomplishment, that’s your body telling you something is wrong

“Peeing, falling, and crying” sounds like a description of me trying to exercise too tbh

unfortunately the worst part of getting really good at something is being bad at it

Anna really needs to internalize "we use mistakes to practice again" so she can stop falling apart at every road bump

Lifting til failure is quite literally how you progress and understand yourself. It’s telling that she finds the edge of comfort incredibly upsetting.

The peeing is gross. As a newbie, and not extreme weight, it shouldn't happen. Also, a normal person would just wear a liner to catch the wee and would NOT tell us all about it!

YOU WERE HOLDING OUT ON THAT CUTE DESK SET UP!!!????

Recording yourself crying in the car after a not great gym session is so dramatic

Recipe for a GlitterandLazers video: She puts in a performative amount of work on the video's subject, and then circles around doing anything at all for 20 minutes, then cries, and then the video ends.

I also think her continuing to sexualize her coach is fucking gross. The gym clearly states no sexual harrassment so much that Anna pointed it out and said that she loves it. She is putting this dude in a weird position to say "yeah, this is fine!" because she is paying him and giving him promo. And even if he is actually cool with it, as someone with a large platform, she should be modeling appropriate behavior in the gym. It's awful. Also, I love lifting too. Deadlifts are my favorite thing ever.

I want gyms to kick people out if they get caught filming other people without their knowledge. Like, permanent ban.

Girllll you’re pulling 205!? That doesn’t need a qualifier of “only” 205. That’s amazinggg. And I believe you will get those 2 plates! You’re so close. You’re doing amazinggg

As a competitive power lifter… Her crash out about failing a lift is wild… Failing is how you know you’re trying and you’re growing. Like it is such a normal part of the weightlifting community. It has nothing to do with her body or her not trying hard enough like even the pros fail all the time over and over again.

she was trying SO hard to push out a tear during her “crash out” lollllll.

She fell on that farmers carry because she didn't have the strength or wherewithal to slow down and balance the weight. She just tried to bulldoze through it without pausing and she could've really injured herself.

Which I guess could be generalized to many areas of her life

She is such a person of extremes — she’s either giddy and manic and hyper or sobbing uncontrollably.

Crying over one failed lift is kinda crazy

Another scary thing about Anna's workouts is that she is already doing workouts just by moving at her size.

The extra strain on "her body" needs to be monitored throughout her workout. Elite athletes have dropped from overexertion. I knew one person who overdid a sporting challenge and it ended badly.

I hope she learns to fail gracefully (by dropping weights properly when she feels she may fail).

I have a little incontinence issue, if I'm in the gym doing the heavy lifting, guess what?? They make pads for that😂😂😂( I'm 59 and has had a baby).
