Having now purchased my ZX4RR new from team Kawasaki Derby some weeks ago, I can 💯 % concur. The bike is phenomenal & superb fun. Don't read too much into its 400cc cap', the whole package is much bigger than that.  Thank u Kawasaki from 🇬🇧

this is my dream bike and i hope to own it sometime in the future

I just bought mine! Absolutely georgious bike!

I'm 63 this year and have been riding continuously  since my teens . I have owned many 600's 750's 900's and on my second 1000 , a GX Suzuki. It is a great bike but I am missing the buzz of a sport bike. I don't want a 600 ZX as they are too uncomfortable  and I don't want a 1000 as they are pointless on today's roads . The ZX4RR is the next bike I will demo and most likely buy , it just makes perfect sense.

in april i was bored and had some money laying around so i thought screw it (im 24) im getting my A license. Come June i passed all my tests first time and started looking for bikes whilst i continued to save for one. i knew as soon as i sat on an mt03 for my lesson i needed a bike. this thing caught my eye immediately. i looked at zx6r's but i had a healthy aversion to 600s as my first bike, and i couldnt even get a quote on comprehensive lol. But here i am now 2 days after test-riding one of these. i sat back down at the salesmans desk an hour later and he asked me "so what now?" and i said "im buying it". i hadnt stopped smiling since he turned the key to warm her up. ive paid my deposit and im awaiting my matt black/grey ZX4RR with the performance package (acra exhaust) to be ordered in and set up for me. people say its crazy expensive but honestly i was looking to spend 10k on a car anyways and i never knew you could buy a bike brand new for that sort of price so i thought screw it. 2 and a half weeks till i pick it up from the dealer and im so excited. im so bloody excited. insurance is looking to be around 2k for the year but come next year when ive got training courses and other bits and bobs (and ill be 25) the insurance should drop considerably along with (hopefully lol) 1 years no claims. I only rode it for an hour but im already addicted. i feel like a kid waiting for christmas. every day is so slow cause i know come the end of the month im gonna have my first bike, and its a bloody 400cc supersport that sounds like an F1 car!! very grateful to be in a position to buy one of these from the dealership. a dream bike as my first bike?? i still cant believe it. cant wait for in a few years time when i can pick up the zx6r.

2 years later, I regret nothing. The Yoshimura AT2 is too loud though, not for me, but everyone else in a half mile radius.

The 40th anniversary colourway is the best colour scheme in my opinion. Great looking bike.

I own ZX4RR anniversary and it’s absolutely amazing

It's such a nice bike! especially with the 2025 paint scheme. And anyone calling it slow is insane, just showboating with power that they'll never ever be able to use on the road. I would recommend whacking it into neutral at long red lights to save your clutch springs a bit though, shake the hands loose and properly relax for 30 seconds. So long as you're sure no one is gonna rear end you of course... relaxed vigilance I call it

Thanks for the review, Mate! Thanks for debunking the squid dummies! 🤣😉👏

Brrrriliant honest real world review. 100% thank u & 100% my choice & look fwd to riding my own v soon. 😀

Lovely bike mate, cannot beat that sound - massive part of why we are all addicted to these machines (well me anyway) 😅

Beautiful bike! I got one too ! I am in love with it ! Sounds good too ! Can’t wait to get an exhaust on my too

Phenomenal bike. May grab one next winter

I’m so pleased you love the bike. I’m just getting the z900 from Bournemouth Kawasaki as I prefer something upright at my age lol . Great review of this lovely bike.

I just bought this last week! 2024 model with heated grips. Still snow up here in Norway so havent been able to give it a go just yet. Great video!

I bought this bike few days ago only version ZX-4R. It's great :) Greetings from Poland.

I love this. Ill be honest, if K built a bar bike version, with relaxed ergos and don't detune the engine, I would buy it in a minute. A gen 3 Duke 390 fits this niche currently.

i feel like they should make it a couple hundred Pounds/Dollars cheaper depending on the *country*, since there are tons of competition in the market now

Definitely a very appealing bike to me, sounds great to ride. Good video
