Every comment is about how lazy Grandpa Joe is.
But can we appreciate just how well of a singer Jack Albertson was? So good!

I'm surprised Grandpa Joe wasn't kicked out right after the song ended.

Charlie's logic: take a guy who pretended to be bed ridden to the factory over his mom who's the sole reason that entire family isn't on the streets

This movie has quite rightly shifted from an oddity, to a cult following, to universal acceptance.

It is a timeless classic

Jack Albertson was a real talent back then. Regardless of how his character was depicted in this, Jack absolutely nailed his performance.

I hated the character of Grandpa Joe but can we give props to the actor Jack Albertson for his singing voice and dancing? Guy was a triple threat.
