Still cant beleive hal took his daughters home and left them alone to go to a sleep over.

It's really poetic that now BOTH of our tansulite Priestie Bois are in immediate danger - Occtis outed and his whereabouts likely snitched to the Tachonis, and Wick about to get killed.

But no spells slots, just 5 sorcery points...no Mage Armour, our boy can't even cast Shield, he's just there with his 12 AC.

They all went to the premiere so overprepaired, and this time they prepaired NOTHING, Brennan really lured them into a false sense of security 😂

I loved the part where the OG schemers were like, “we’re not usually this bad at everything we promise” lol

I loved this episode though. That axe is going to come back and bite both Julien (though he wouldn’t care since he didn’t want to actually court her) and Azune.

“SAY SOME SMART SHIT NOW!”

Top 5 episode for me. It had some frustrating moments but overall was fast paced, exciting and every NPC felt dangerous in their own unique way.

Could have used a little levitity now and then maybe too, but I personally adore this high stakes politics.

This episode was so tense! Cant wait for the next schemer episode

This episode is the perfect example why Wick would've be a better seeker than schemer. The story dictated he stay in the city but his skills are not slick and duplicitous - they are showy and blunt. His charisma would be useful if he could be the one out right PUBLIC ally - but he has no social power outside of his creed status. It would be more effective if he made a counter culture movement that bleeds that pokes holes in the church's efforts. But I think that's outside of the depth of the story right now

I don't know why Hal doesn't move his family out of town. I mean, I can see him keeping Hero there but with him being particularly targeted, why doesn't he try and save his family from Yanessa's clutches.

Brennnan really pushing the consequences..  it was amazing how the dice turned on them And makes narrative sense totally.  You can only be crazy, revolutionary fish in a very small pond for a little while. Before you get found out.   And my biggest worry has been wic for this arc

Anyone else feeling like Tyrany's sister was trying to throw her a bone in the scene at the door? I don't remember the exact wording but she said something like "the way is closed to YOU" when Tyranny can disguise self and appear to be someone else, like Wic's grandma...

22:30  The way Brennan threw a bit of tantrum at number 3 portent and Marisha yelled back about how bad their rolls are this session. 😂 I see this in my head as Marisha threw number 3 to Brennan's face. 😂

This episode to me really showed that the Schemers were a little too focused on the theater and their Magpies and forgot the rest of the city.

They did great and set up their network great in the first part and position themselves, but they seem to have forgotten the city has changed now and they need to figure out the next move, rather then flying off to just do things. But it has only been a day maybe 2 now.

- The og schemer didn't bring or really go over anything with Wic or Tyranny, yeah the information was shared, but their goals were never explained basically leaving them to move on their own and while doing things are kind of directionless.
- Them approaching the councilor without an idea of what they want.
- Murray focusing on research is great and she is making leaps and bonds in it, but was focused in it she missed the things happening in the school where she was at the time, until after it gets told to her
- Azune, who needs to get his new role as captain in line and to to check into the Marshals
- Hal was making his moves and protecting his family, but keep leaving them or not checking on them

Absolutely loving how you can pinpoint exactly the trail of rough decisions & bad rolls that led to these moments.

Things could go smoothly if they had great foresight even if their rolls weren't so hot, hell they couldve still maintained things if they rolled well, but both together shortened the timeline of the Schemers tremendously. Wick and Tyranny are out of the scheming game for good, Murray is 1 slip away from being fired, Hal is on borrowed time as his family is in danger and the only reason he isn't dead is by Yanessa's mood... Azune is the only one still on the scheming game, and some of his lies are starting to crack. I wonder if the schemers are gonna dissolve and become the new Seekers, having to leave town to escape the consequences

Lying get's them dying. Brennan cashing in on every bad roll from earlier sessions, good for him.

I almost forgot how stressful the Seekers episodes are. It feels like 1 bad roll away from catastrophe so on Thursday nights my cortisol levels are UP.

A nail-biter for sure. I loved Wic standing up to his G'ma. Overall, I think the characters need to go underground and form a resistance. The dice rolling was painful.

I was on the edge of my seat for the entire episode, loved it

This one had me shrinking in my seat.

Also, I was so proud of Hero. I knew she would get angry instead of sad but she was a little more dark than even I expected. 😂
