Welcome to GIGGS Dungeons & Dragons - in which I, your humble dungeon master Pixlriffs, guide four of the five members of GIGGS (whom you may know from the Hermitcraft Server) through their first time playing Dungeons & Dragons (5th Edition, 2024 rules.)

This is Session 7, in which the characters wake up in the aftermath of a magical catastrophe. Max soon discovers his past has been dragged into this strange new world with him, and the Circus of Wonders may not remember him fondly...

Can I give you a star for creating an entire multiplanar catastrophe just to flesh out Scar saying "I used to drive wagons in the western regions of Paradox"? Pretty please?

I'm with Gem. Mechanically, halfling luck is awesome. Narratively, it can sometimes be boring. You can't be Max Blunder if you don't blunder to the max.

"Who says I have bones?" walks away
Perfection, Scar.

I love Pix's individual voices he does for each of the characters! Langley had so much personality and Gret was hilarious. Great job as always Pix!

Genuinely incredible storytelling, started tearing up at Max paying his respects

I was watching the stream live and Pix's sudden southern accent made me spit out the water i was drinking. 😂😂😂

If I was an active part of this I'd give a star to Grian for adding on the fly a second painting of Rufus doing a backflip. Iconic 😂

I think the party has officially 'adopted' an npc, and I look forward to see more of Gret.

Scar not taking any damage up to this session is such a contrast to his Minecraft persona.

I finished watching the rest of this series on YouTube, about a week ago, to the point that I actually used Twitch to be able to watch this session as soon as I possibly could, and I just want to say that I am always in awe at how this campaign has come together, it's so great how the players have built these characters up, no matter how spontaneous it is, and it's so amazing, how much you've been able to facilitate that as the DM, and I can't wait to see what all the other islands have to offer! Also just as an aside the prospect of a fan-art carousel next session is really piquing my interest

This session is one of the best episode in many aspects. The map pix's made is such an amazing addition to the series.

Keeping the encounters difficult but achievable as your players level up is a beautiful thing! I'm especially loving that there's enough room in these encounters that there's a lot of character development that's happening while the parties in mid-fight!!!! So excited to see the next one!

Really enjoyed this session, I’ve been following since session 1 on Twitch VODs but find YouTube easier to watch the vods on.

You’re crushing it as DM, I’ve never watched or played D&D but this is incredibly fun!

Thanks for introducing us to D&D at a really accessible level!
