Once you have finger placement in-check. If being better is important. Mindful practice Be patient, be consistent and just stick with it. 🙏🏻 No magic. No secrets. You will get better. Thank you for the video.

I think your instructions are spot on.
Love that you are a luthier too .
I also have urged my right hand to relax the pinky so tension doesn’t cause any muscle strain imbalance and pain in the muscles of the right hand.

Right hand " flex' was the main important the motion of  M and A finger redy for next strike by making big circle movement and moving openly from top joint of fingers, after the long reserch..on tremolo

Thank you very much for part 2! Im already geeting better at tremolo with these tips!

Yeah I really dislike putting those slashes in, seems unnecessary haha but technically speaking they should be there! Glad you liked the vid

Squaresunmusic has already beaten me to the comment about putting slashes on your top notes in your "reduction" (see also Elaine Gould's "bible" about music notation.

But I should have started with a positive comment - there's a shedload of good stuff here, and so many of the tips apply to much other guitar music too.  I think what's particularly helpful is that you've covered a lot of the "hidden" techniques that, as a teacher, I've never found in a book... the concepts of "defensive fingering", as I call it, also help with block chords where a brushed "accidental" string can spoil the sound. And I use your "speed bursts" to show beginners how ligados  (that start off as an extra job - two notes and an extra action) eventually become a single entity that produces two notes and becomes a real boost to speed and continuity.

So there's a lot of points in your video that will help all sorts of pieces.

A really good watch - the time flew by!

Hi Manus! What guitar support are you using? Alsom I like that you have it on your right leg for back relief... John B.

very excellent  Great tips.  Please also explain about the timing of the speed increase.  For example, I start with a speed of 50 and train for half an hour every day.  So when should I increase the speed to 60?  When to 70, 80 and... this is a big challenge for me.

Great video. Thanks! Any tips for someone who has a very long middle finger? I’m finding that after p i a, the middle finger curls and misses the string. Most people I see playing great tremolo have reasonably even length fingers!

Very good follow-up video sir! I like that you addressed the inner melody a bit in your phrasing section. Good advice and good demonstration!

I'm also glad you shared your version of Tárrega's score for a more succinct and less laborious reading experience. I agree with you entirely! I often rewrite many scores this way too. If I may make only one suggestion regarding your score, I suggest adding the tremolo beams to your notes that are featured in the tremolo lines. An example may be viewed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tremolo. I'm not a fan of using Wiki, but this looks safe. The single tremolo beams are the only thing missing from your score. You would of course need three beams for each of the notes in the tremolo line.

Recently I have adapted the 2 finger tremolo technique, P M I M   /   P M I M   /   P M I M. I feel it gives me more control of the sound, because the A finger is weaker, and needs to be compensated. Where the P and M are about the same strength.

Do you explain the 2 finger, P M I M technique in your book? Very nice vids, btw. Just discovered your channel. Tech feedback: You need to improve your audio setup. Maybe a dedicated mic for voice, speaking. It’s very muffled, sometimes hard to make out what you’re saying.

Name of the intro piece?
