his Stand on Zanzibar was the first book I ever read that came to the conclusion that the earth as a whole would be much better off without humans. good idea!
I have 40 of his novels and short story collections on my bookshelves. It turns out that several of his books were published with different titles in Britain and the USA, so maybe only 31 or 32 different books in all.
I still can't pick up any one of them to, say, recall a plot point, without getting so caught up in the story that I end up reading the whole book.
"Timescoop" was a funny book which had the memorable gimmick of the murder victim showing up to testify for the defense side in his murderer's trial, and with that spoiler in mind, it is still a good book!
You can't "spoil" a really good, well-written book. You can only show how good it is by dwelling on it more!
