In this video, a wildlife officer is conducting safety inspections at a boat ramp. Here, we see him walking up to two men who are returning from a day of fishing. The two fishermen have a cooler with both Florida bass and speckled perch, or some people call them crappie. The officer determines the fishermen are within the limit for both fish species. He then begins his safety inspection. The two anglers began to ask the officer a variety of questions, ranging from squirrel hunting permits to a failed credit card payment for a fishing license. Unlike states like Louisiana, in Florida, it is illegal to shoot an alligator.  And doing so is a third-degree felony. Penalties can include fines, imprisonment, and the confiscation of property used in the crime.
