What you need to understand regarding Womble, is how he edits his videos. See the texts floating above the heads? He edits the movement per microseconds. And he do it himself. He has said that recording is the easy part, its the editing, and sometime the editing takes MONTHS!

You gotta see Sovietwomble's Space Engineers videos.

With a private server this game is actually quite calm and really enjoyable to casually play/build really large/ detailed bases / go collecting rare/ interesting items. With a few light moments of pvp/duels but mostly pve ; traveling the large distances of the larger maps building bases together in every biome with like 2-4 players it almost becomes a survival/road trip Sim utilizing a different transport method each time ; and yes the trains a really fun/satisfying to use, but also boats and horses, bicycles and even treks in the arctic on foot. It can be very atmospheric. Nature dies rather hate you so traveling on foot in hostile terrain like the jungles with a small group you really do have to either proceed slowly keeping an eye out for eachother or just sprint as fast as you can and hope you don't bump right into a tiger or run out of stamina before reaching the jungles edge after effectively announcing your presence to every threat in miles around. Very much worth it you can mod private servers to add or remove just about any mechanic you want/don't like. You can even password protect your server so you can keep it exclusive to a handful of trusted friends to follow "unwritten rules" if you don't want to set up the more complicated mods for loot/structure protection etc. Definitely worth it, my private server is like 10-15 dollars a month I think usd, and the hardware is good enough to generate the larger maps (you can specify the map size in world settings and the maps are randomly generated in terms of what structures spawn, where they spawn, and smaller maps may not generate larger map spanning structures like train networks.

SovietWomble made few video essays of Survival games, where starting position is Arma 2 mods (DayZ) and from there it moves onward to create few other games you have heard or not heard of, like PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds (aka PUBG) and The Isle style (you play as an animal, on The Isle game you play as a dinosaur).

If you get to watch his other videos, mainly his Bullshittery ones, i suggest pausing video if you want to take a sip.

If you like this format, I HIGHLY recommend Womble's video on "The Forest," which goes from a question of would a survival storyline feel tacked on after the base game is released, and goes on a narrative that would make you geek out!

hope you check out more of his videos, they're hilarious

19:23 The funny thing is, the first and last time I've played Rust was way back when the game started out, at that time the game had zombies and almost all of my interactions with other players weren't pvp based so...

i guess someone already explain this but offline raiding is when you gone offline and can't defend your base you got raid by some try hard that online at 2-3 am

16:50 Reminds me of a certain sci-fi third person shooter where they made distinct classes with supposedly distinct roles, but then players easily figured out how to make the "guy who just heals and helps" into "I am the violence" by not equipping any self-defense items and just equipping the most damage-dealing weapons, and the "slow tanky dude" into the fastest character by repeatedly spamming an animation-breaking sequence to turn their short burst of speed dash into "I am Flash."

Some players play games "as the devs intended." Others have fun with games and to hell with what the devs "intended." If they intended me to use a support class as a support class, don't give it a Hammer of Dawn-esque weapon, giant robots and bombing runs as options. Why help by healing and assisting other players when you can help by just carpet-bombing the enemy and terraforming the map with explosions? :D

I've played rust once with some friends ages ago. Got shot by someone random. Right when I spawned and had nothing. They took the little I had o. Me. Then I quit the game and never touched it again.

I love SovietWomble's content

I'd recommend you watching any of wiljums videos there you can see an entire rust wipe he usually explores very unique playing styles.

......2013 to 2026 is not 20 years
Edit: i saw the part where chat showed you the error of your ways i am not changing this

at the start they don't have daily tax for base. guess what happen? at day 4 of the wipe abandon base is every where on the map because it's not decay even after the player who own the place already left the server.

Currently technically only child but I have three older step siblings for younger step siblings and a cousin who was like a big brother to me but he passed away a while ago so I have a weird family dinner as well because my family dinner split down the middle

We are of the same mind: a lot of great mechanics are not found outside of PvPvE games. As a single play gamer myself, I too hate this. This looks fun...if you have ten friends and can hire five sweat lords for security for the first few days.

I actually have 3.5k hours (and im not even that great)  in rust and i can confirm this game is really cool but really stressful. Theres lots of things you can do but most of the focus is mostly on pvp raiding and progression. Ive always wanted to paly on a server like this where you cand have player interraction and not instantly shoot each other but never found one

Played the game over 2k hours, not to spoil anything I'll just say this, most not all comments you made are true in some regard or way, sometimes you said it the polar opposite of what it is, do with this information what you will and loved the video

been watching for a while and I'm a bit perplexed, did you always overlay your face over 1/3 of the video or is that a new thing your doing cause in honesty I find it a bit annoying. Aside that good video as usual

First.
