I visit some elderly folk in  nursing home and every few days have a Surprise TV day showing tv shows from yesterday, they all loved this one, and were singing the song.  Thanks for the enjoyable memories.

Love the sentence gratefull for all we can got😂

I remember now, how good it was 🎉 thanks BBC

easily my favorite episode. especially the last 2 lines 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This cheers me up

Filmed not far from me, it's Arley station on the Severn valley railway, well worth a visit, beautiful station, and beautiful countryside around it.

This was one of the series going. The cast worked together brilliantly but I felt sorry for Wilfred.  I know Wilfred looked gormless but he was a great character and he fitted in with the cast

I love the dresses.

Wonderful show!

Episode aired Monday, July 22, 1996

There is supposed to be a Season 2 with 12(?) episodes? Do you know how they can be watched?

Interestingly, the railway used the Severn Valley Railway was closed by Beeching in the 1o60s.
It was to be fair already scheduled for closure before due to low usage.

Jack's so repulsive and jealous I'm surprised his wife can stand him. Shows good acting to get me annoyed😂😊
