Ned Fulmer cheated on his wife Ariel Fulmer back in 2022. As a result of the scandal, Ned and Ariel split up and he was also removed from Try Guys. Now Ned is back, and he brought Ariel onto his new podcast called "Rock Bottom." This is my body language analysis of the episode, as requested by you!

I saw someone else comment “the fact he says “the scandal” and she says “your affair” tells you everything you need to know” and now that I’ve seen some clips they were right

Oh, she loathes him. She is only in this to keep the narrative straight and their kids stable. She would not exchange any words with him otherwise.
The way she lets him stew in his own misery and puts him in his place is gold. What a queen.

Ned doesn’t even realize he’s being trolled by her. In my opinion, Ariel agreed to do this so the world could see how phony he behaves and so that she can move on with her life without having to be questioned anymore. That’s exactly why he’s leading the discussion and not her.

She 100% only showed up to make sure he didn’t twist the narrative. Good for her!

I believe Ariel is there because she didn’t want Ned to take control of the narrative. If she wasn’t there he could basically say what he wants without someone checking him and she’s there to say „this is what it is. Nothing else is true. Now you’re on your own“.

I love how you keep affirming Ariel. She is a strong woman, knows her worth, and is doing what she needs to do for her family. He looks so whipped, and whiny. We don't even need really good body language skills to see what is happening there, and I am living for it.

I'm coming to this video not just for your analysis, but also because I don't want to give Ned the views

Ned 100% was hoping to soften the image and try to rehabilitate his internet career. He was probably thinking he could get Ariel to help him soften things, but she saw through it.

She wanted to be firm and tell the public she was never forgiving him. They aren't married. No more rumors that she stayed with a cheater. They aren't in a "complex relationship." Divorced, only meeting for the kids. She's not letting him manipulate the narrative and I applaud her. She's so strong to do this.

One thing that really stuck out to me was Ned saying "as much progress as we've made, you're still angry (at me)" implying that progress for her should mean forgiving him, and she just hasn't made enough progress yet. I hate that so much. I've been there before, where it's like everything is on you, like the other person is telling you "I'm already where I need to be, YOU just aren't where YOU need to be." Like no, fuckface, progress for me was deciding what you did to me was wrong and you can go fuck yourself and I'm done. She's allowed to be angry and stay angry and not forgive him. That is progress.

This belongs in a therapist's office. The fact that he attempted to monetize this in any way is grotesque.

Bro. Her ability to let him marinate in his own sh*t is wild. Mad respect.

Damn she must be terrifying as a mom. Getting yelled at is easier than having to sit in the silence while your guilt swallows you whole.

I can't imagine how he has the balls to show his face in front of her. I could never.

@AmethystEyes 1 year ago

I think that this freed Ariel. Ned intended this to be a comeback to free him from the shame of his affair when I feel like it actually freed Ariel from having to stay silent to protect him.

He's trying to appear very meek and submissive but you can tell - and Ariel can tell - that he's still covertly aggressive, challenging her, and trying to pull her into his bullshit story to make this her responsibility too. Ariel had none of it. Amazingly done.

I got the impression that she’s trying REALLY hard to stay polite so they can have a good coparenting relationship and he’s been interpreting that as actual friendship or interest in reconciling. She does not like this man, rightfully so, and he’s probably deluding himself otherwise so he doesn’t have to take accountability for the fact that he fucked their relationship up that badly.

@MojoJojoBx 1 year ago

In my opinion, the worst part of this is the fact that this wasn’t some random woman who Ariel didn’t know. This was a woman who she knew pretty well and who she saw very regularly. So not only is your husband doing this to you, but the other woman is also still pretending to love you as a friend. She’s hanging out, laughing, being around the children, collaborating on projects at the office, and the entire time she’s been sleeping with your husband as well. Then you have to wonder about who else knew and didn’t say anything. It’s a very lonely position to be in.

@K000H 1 year ago

"we're still friends. We go on trips together.." Ned... She is choosing to be your "friend" for the sake of your shared kids. She don't want to be your friend and she definitely don't want to go on vacationy trips with you. But she is being the bigger person by showing your kids that you two can get along and still have a good family despite the divorce. She's crazy amazing for this and you should thank her and appreciate her for the rest of your life for this. If you don't, she will leave you behind. Aside from your kids being the ones to suffer from this, she has everything to gain. And you have everything to lose. You better step carefully if you want the niceties to continue.

Just want to mention to remind people, Ned wasn’t just Alexandrea’s boss, he was head of HR for Try Guys.

@geoffkelly8167 1 year ago

5:20 "work as their editor" cracked me up because the Try Guys have repeatedly stated that out of the four of them, Ned consistently refused to edit videos

@rairianm 1 year ago

I saw a theory that Ariel knew Ned was going to use what happened to launch the podcast, with or without her. She agreed to appear to prevent him from trying to unilaterally reshape the narrative, with the added bonus of getting to humiliate him online.
