Yixiang new DIY battery kit. Comes with EVE 314 Ah LiFePO4 cells (16kWh) and a new Yixiang BMS. This battery will make a nice addition to my off grid solar battery bank which powers my home.
Full build in video, along with Current testing and capacity testing. Plus, a response back from Yixiang on an issue I found.

Thus, the BMS itself can take 200A, but because the cells can't (or shouldn't according to manufacturer specifications), the kit manufacturer has set the limit to 160A.
This makes sense and is prudent to do, and if any change is to be done, it is to make a note of this in the advertizing.

Hi everyone, below is an e-mail response from Yixiang. Lucy asked me to pin this comment to help clear up any confusion:
" This battery box is paired with 314Ah cells. Since the 314Ah cells support 0.5C discharge, we set the default current to 160A at the factory.
Users can manually adjust this parameter. Our BMS hardware can support up to 200A, but the parameter needs to be modified to activate this rating. We suggest you adjust the parameters before testing to prevent misunderstandings for end customers. Could you please pin this explanation to clarify why we set the default value to 160A? "
