Fair warning, no Zelda video next week. I'm going to need an extra week to get footage for Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask recorded, so enjoy this video while you can xD

For the Helmasaur King, there is an indicator that you're doing damage to the mask. If you hit it with the hammer and are successful, you'll hear a noise that indicates that you've hit it successfully

"need the fire rod for Cold Stare" laughs in Bombos Medallion

the spikes in the helmasaur king room are to keep players from trying to attack his backside, since that's how you fight baby helmasaurs.

There's absolutely is feedback when you hit the helmasaur kings mask with the hammer. 1: you can hear the boss damage sound
2: when you land a hit it knocks your back a little and spins link around 180°
3: you can see the mask gradually breaking.

Amos Knights is my favourite boss. I remember playing the game as a kid, entering the boss room of the first dungeon, the music changes, and SIX huge knights stared me down, it was so intense.

“You’re in danger diva” you’re truly a man of the people

This makes me want to see LOZ:ALTTP in the modern BOTW/TOTK style. Imagine how crazy some of these fights would be in full 3D

“Waiting for the dvd logo to hit the corner perfectly” - I thought I was the only one who did that. It was soooooo satisfying when it did.

I don’t mind Vitreous being a pushover as the dungeon itself isn’t a pushover

Bee: So this Mothula giving you trouble? Say nothing, fam.

fun fact: as a kid I never realized I was meant to use the hammer against helmasaur king.
instead I used bombs, which also work, but are more difficult to hit because, well the boss tends to move.
and to top it off: also didnt realize I can hit the green weak spot on its head with the sword, I thought it had to be arrows.
I found that difficult as well.
really this boss became alot easier once I learned about this many years later through a lets play

Mothula is also invincible when you sword slash him into the spikes

I loved your commentary on the DVD logo perfectly hitting the corners of the screen rofl

Don't forget, when fighting Mothula if you damage him and he hits the spikes, the damage you do is negated and you have to hit him MORE to make up for that.

I couldn't agree more with you on the Ganon fight. Those pits were the bane of my existence in my childhood. It's also very good to see some Trinexx love ❤ Great list as always! 🎉

Two years late to the discussion, but using the Bombos medallion on Kholdstare in its first phase instantly melts the ice 😅

For Moldorm, there’s actually a hole you can fall in that gives you fairies in the floor before you fight Moldorm, so you get infinite healing and fairies if you keep falling. Yes, the boss is easier because of this, but it’s still annoying.

tower of hera made me break my tv

So, I play a LOT of aLttP Randomizer with randomized bosses and can confidently say that ALL of the difficulty of Mothula is the arena. If you fight him without the Skull Woods arena, he is trivially easy.
