Blizetta's face scared the hell outta me as a kid.

I love that you say you're biased against Armagohma, but actually ranked it higher than most people I've seen.

Love how Zant's theme just gets more and more chaotic as the battle progresses to highlight his growing descent into madness.

Morpheel is one of my favorite bosses! Not for the gameplay, but the entrance, arena and scale

A part of me wishes Zant was the final boss. Like if Ganon summoned Zant to aid him against Link and Zelda, but Zant sees his "god" beaten and decides that he should ascend, killing Ganon, to become Zantorf or something like that.

Not the Ms. Kasha Davis reference :D those references are what keep me coming :D 12:11

i consider all the different 'phases' / stages of the Ganon boss fight all as one Final Boss Sequence.

while each fight individually isn't that crazy, having you fight each one after the other i say is the real experience. fighting Zelda, fighting the Boar, fighting him on horse back.... and then finally, going Mano a Mano with Ganondorf directly. it's the escalation and climax that really bring it all together.

Been waiting for this one, this was my first Zelda game as a kid and one of my first ever video games. It’s one of my absolute favorites

Two things.1) The horseback battle is amazing with surround speakers. I use the speakers to find him rather than twirling the camera. This makes the fight so much easier. 2) I combine all the final battle phases (Zelda puppet, dark beast etc.) as one boss fight since it is all Gannondorf. All combined phases making it one of the best Gannon battles in the Zelda series.

I've always loved the boss themes in this game so it made me happy when you mentioned Fyrus' theme. It felt fully Orchestrated even though the game just used Arranged Samples.

Absolutely adore this game and I’m loving the Zelda content on this channel it fits so well

my absolute favorite Zelda. Some incredible fights and dungeons.

16:12. Thank you! Someone finally mentions the best music of the game

I actually love the Ganondorf fights, the final kill strike is what adds the cherry at top of the cake.

Zant will always be memorable to me, both for his absolutely insane bossfight, and for his playable appearance in Hyrule Warriors, where his entire moveset is almost one-to-one taken from his boss fight here... and he's also one of the easiest enemy captains to beat on because of how revealing his weakpoint gauge works.

one thing to note about the Argarok fight, once the peahats come out, he will try to fake you out with his breath attack. When you try to get behind him, he will stop his attack early, and, if you try to keep going the same way, he will resume his attack, and burn you. You actually have to turn around, and go the other way.

Yeah! Somebody who appreciates Zant! He is my favorite Zelda villain next to Ganondorf! With Ghirahim as my third favorite.

I wouldn't say that zant is my favourite boss fight, I feel the "retreading old boss gimmicks" is something that runs me the wrong way. But I really appreciate your take on zant as a character, as my love of him is the same. I actually really enjoyed his arc, as a pathetic man driven mad by his greed for power, and Ganon almost acting to him as some eldritch deity he foolishly put his faith in. It is one of the more interesting Zelda villain dynamics which wouldn't have been achievable with zant just on his own. I also appreciated how his boss fight echoes the character - a desperate man who can put on a performance of threatening you, but truly lacks any skill of his own. Thanks for another great video Billy! You are fantastic.

The horseback battle with Ganondorf is definitely its own phase, but it is short enough to be lumped in with the swordfight part as a battle with Ganondorf the man as a phase.

I love Stallord Phase 1 because it's fun pinballing around the arena, dodging as much as possible to get to the weak point. I also never really used the bow against Dark Beast Ganon. The whole fight, I was Wolf Link, and I would have Midna keep throwing him around the room. I've tried to use the bow, but it wasn't easy to aim for him. And when you did hit him, he'd slam right into you. 😁😁
