This is like watching someone start to suspect that they might be in an abusive relationship.

Honestly even we Europeans were brainwashed through Hollywood portraying the US as a hero liberator.

As a non-american, the most shocking thing for me was your reaction. Ive assumed that you guys were somehow aware of most of these points.
Its heartbreaking.

Correction. We don’t think Americans are brainwashed. We know they are.

Whenever the US invades a country to "bring democracy", they miraculously find oil.

"We're either brainwashed, or braindead" is a hell of a quote.

Keeping the people uneducated is a way to have control

I am very impressed with your open-mindedness, and hope many other Americans would also share your attitude.

No one is attacking America. Your military aren’t protecting you from anything, they’re fighting wars in other people’s countries, the American way.

“Are they purposefully not teaching us things?”
- Yes

As a Canadian, I have so much respect for your interest and dedication to learning about what you weren’t taught in school. Keep going. Keep learning what they kept from you.

No, it's not normal at all! 😂

Teachers needing to buy school supplies with their own money is symptom of not appreciating teaching and learning.

Brainwashed, indoctrinated, manipulated, uneducated, and more. You name it. The whole world knows it.

Your military system doesn't defend you, it attacks other countries to rob them

The most powerful form of control isn't telling people what to think — it's making sure they never learn enough to question what they've been told.

As an Australian, I've always viewed the US as a corrupt war mongering machine. Just wait until you learn about what your government and military have done to its own citizens without your consent or knowledge. This video only scratches the surface.

Your military is not defending anyone but the financial interests of nefarious billionaires. Your country is not being attacked, your country is the foreign invader in the eyes of a very large part of the world. The fact that you are proud of them says it all, the brainwashing has been very successful.
