Applause from China. Because my poor English I kinda never leave any comment. But your videos are the most helpful and infomational videos not only on photo taking videos, but all videos on YouTube so I must say something. I use all your tips on my new X-H2s and works great! Thanks a lot!

such an underrated channel.

Chris, your channel is a must-go for anybody starting with (Fuji) photography, like myself a year ago. I bought the X-T4 1 month ago, and I devoured your videos! They’re not only extremely useful information wise, but your enthusiasm makes me really heart pumping to know my camera inside and out. It’s really inspirational! If I were Fuji, I would hire you immediately.

A big thank you from The Netherlands!

Thank you so much! I seriously thought I was going crazy when I'd set a minimum limit on my shutter speed and the camera completely ignored it.

This is the reference video everybody needs to watch for Auto ISO in fuji cameras :elbowcough:

I watched this when it came out. And now I'm back because I forgot things. Good to have these videos waiting when I need them.

0:22 The film simulations on my Fujifilm X-T4 actually got me BACK into film again. I shoot both film and digital now. Also, your all ISO videos are great explainers!

I 100% agree!
I use ISO 12800 max.

People put too much thought into High ISO performance.
As long as you can see the expressions on peoples faces that expresses the moment, I and the people are perfectly happy with it.

Graininess should be viewed as a style rather than a failure. What really sucks is missing the moment!

Step 1 at 1:20 is crucial. So many YouTube channels tell you everything else. Thanks pal2tech

The ten seconds from 1:25 to 1:35 solved the major issue that was stopping me using Auto ISO (I had it set to "Command"). Thanks!

You are the Fuji king! Always watch your vids from across the pond in the UK! You’re a natural for a TV show

This video was extremely useful! Thank you!!...I thought I was going crazy with the "min shutter speed" setting for the Auto ISO! Now I understand! and know what to do about it! Thank you very much your Fujifilm XT3 reviews!

The Kat in the hat meets photography. Fantastic, I love it.

Auto-ISO is especially nice for street photography. The light changes by the second with shadows and such. Things are changing and happening quickly in that environment, so I don't want to be fussing with settings. I want to get the shot. The other thing is that I shoot aperture priority most of the time. So that limits the camera to just two things for good exposure: shutter and ISO. Also. I want the shutter at a minimum speed so as to prevent blur. Auto-ISO allows me to do this. Great feature.

Picked up the x-t4 a couple days ago, learning so much from this channel! Huge thank you!

It was a well-constructed, well-presented, and well-inspiaring tutorial on Setting Auto ISO on the fleet of Fujifilm X-T systems. Well done, Chris.👍

Whoa! I watched this just to figure out how to set my auto iso settings on my new XT5, but this had a lot more info and made me realize that it was not user error when my xe3 would sometimes drop the SS waaaaaay! lower than I had set as the minimum. Super detailed! Nice!

@mashamzawy1984 5 years ago (edited)

the best explanation i found for this option especially that sentence ( min shutter is more of a suggestion ) . it was a great confusion issue for me that it won't lock a min shutter
