we're only 2 episodes in and i'm already ready for the 10 minute supercut of jeff saying "this is your game, we have no control" followed by every time jeff/production told them that they're not allowed to do something

Fun fact found by someone on Reddit- Rob tried to vote for himself the same night that Christian voting for himself aired

You have to have Eric as Aric next week

i remember last season when they forced christian to vote for himself and i specifically said that was against the rules in the survivor rulebook and now they canonized that with this episode! They literally just snitched on themselves!

Rob definitely should've been allowed to vote for himself. After last season, I feel they can't tell anyone they can't anymore 😅

I loooved that shot where Maggie's tribe lifted her up after she landed the last ball. It was so cute and genuinely made me cheer for her as well.

I think Rob should have been able to vote for himself because the producers already broke that rule with Christian last season. It looks bad if production can break the rules but contestants can't.

I have been watching Survivor live since 46 so it hasn’t been that long, but this episode was one of the most entertaining episodes that I’ve seen live. The thumb, the vote flip because a comedic misunderstanding, and Rob voting himself and his reaction to learning he can’t vote himself was great tv. It helps that I jumped a lot in fantasy for Jelly finding an idol, Mike and Jelly being on the Toka tribe that won both challenges, and I put five votes on Ana to go home. It was a good night of Survivor.

Never have I been so eager to hear ya’ll react to an episode😂

Interesting through line of players from the same area bonding and then immediately distrusting each other. Happened with Rob and Eric and again with Linnea and Ana.

Referencing Parvati in season 13 Cook Islands. Coconut as Johnathon Penners head and sliced the tip of her thumb like a pop-up book but they were able to save her thumb.

Hehe thanks for answering my question! My middle name starts with a D - Rebecca D. Bates 😂😂  but I just realized the irony: Kilby losing the machete to a thumb war, and Brady losing his thumb to the machete…

When the producer told Brady "this happened before" i think they were talking abt when Parvati cut her halfway thru her finger trying to chop a coconut on cook islands. It was like hanging off. They bandaged it up and gave her anti biotics and let her keep going. But i think she got voted out in the next episode anways

I am here to hear you explain what Rob was thinking.

Let’s explore the Brady-Brody..
Brady is a Wrestler/entertainer, he- Brady, calls his young fans his little
Bro-dies… it’s a play on the word Bro.
He explains that in episode 1

At first when Jeff said this season would be chaotic I rolled my eyes but I am not going to lie this is super chaotic because I don’t know which players are in an alliance together

I believe the vote for yourself rule still exists so a "strategic quit" doesn't exist and quitters have to be made examples of. Can't quit and get positivity.

i think its better not letting players vote for themselves

45:00 Ana didn’t JUST throw out Kristen’s name because of her ankle injury, she threw out her name because SOMEone had to come up with a decoy name to feed Eric(‘s mind). For what would her alliance have done if NO one was willing to suggest a decoy?

is it nuts that alexis is my #1? she seems to be a part of the decision making for everything, well insulated, well liked, and it feels like we’ve been checking in with her even when it’s not necessary needed.
