I’ve been saying for a while that console gaming is becoming an increasingly terrible value. Hardware keeps getting more expensive, physical games are under pressure, exclusives aren’t what they used to be, and at some point you have to ask why you wouldn’t just put that money toward a PC.

Now we have the latest insane GameStop situation involving a whopping $1,500, and it perfectly illustrates where this market is heading. How did console gaming get THIS expensive?

They have to create artificial supply and demand inflation with the RAM cartel to justify charging you $2000 for PS6 later.

These prices are getting ridiculous. These companies are literally pricing themselves out of business. The videogame crash can't come soon enough, IMHO. These companies are screwing themselves. Expensive consoles and overpriced woke slop for games. And they expect us to just bend over and take. Not gonna happen.

Ive owned every playstation. I never thought i would see the day that i hated them with such passion and plan on not buying the playstation 666

I agree with the just get a PC at this point. It's not hard and I can literally boot up and be in game in a quarter of the time as console. Mine boots up near instantly,then it's simply face scan, click short cut. It's definitely much easier than the early days of PC gaming

And GameStop miraculously "doesn't have new" Pro's anymore.
Just like the time they Opened all the new copies of "Xenoblade Chronicles" back in 2013

GameStop secured an exclusive U.S. brick-and-mortar retail agreement with Nintendo for the original Wii release.

They didn't want to abide by the MSRP part of that agreement, so they just OPENED EVERY COPY
