When you hear something you've never heard before, you can either immediately dismiss it as lies based on what you've always thought to be true...or you can research the claims, and come to your own conclusion based on your findings :_blanksUSUK:

We don't THINK they're brainwashed. We KNOW they are!

As an Australian, ex-serviceman I served with many US military personnel. What we found was that you guys were certainly ultra patriotic ( compared to us) and respected that HOWEVER that
patriotism became more irksome when that patriotism actually became exclusive and disrespectful of others. Many of your guys could simply not accept that other nations had their own
forms of patriotism, had their own world view, were culturally inclusive etc. Basically, many were jingoistic and supremacist not just patriotic !

I find it amazing that Americans have access to the internet and with a few exceptions like yourselves, never use it to find out what the rest of the world is actually like but instead use it to go down rabbit holes to reinforce their own beliefs.

Americans are not taught arguments, they're taught thought-stoppers.

As a Mexican who grew up next to the US and now living in Europe, yeah, the US has always felt very brainwashed, of course not all, but a very big majority

The pledge of allegiance at schools and singing the national anthem at sportmatches when there even isn't another country is involved feels creepy for me as a European. It gives me North Korean vibes. And politicians saying the US is the greatest country in the world.... No country is the greatest. We're just different.

End of the cold war. A US and Russian spy shake hands and have a chat.
US spy says, "you know what, we envy your propaganda and how you can get the people to believe anything you tell them"
Russian spy says "noooo we envy your propaganda, it's magnificent."

US spy says "what US propaganda?"

Russian "you see, it's perfect"
😂

I am glad to have the freedom of not feeling stressed about calling an ambulance, rather than the freedom to own several semi-automatic rifles.

I love the new wave of Americans learning about things outside US. Hello from Mainland Europe 🇪🇺

I’m a retired Brit - if I were living in the US instead, the medications I’m on would bankrupt me.

Hi , a great example of this is the world cup final why on earth did you play your National Anthem when you were not even playing . I don't think ( correct me if I'm wrong folks) that's what usually happens.

I grew up and went to school in a communist dictatorship. There were strange rituals there too, but as children, we didn't have to pledge allegiance to our flag every day. What is common practice over there in America is really creepy.

80% of Australian school leavers have traveled or worked in overseas countries by age 25. 60% of Americans do not possess a US passport.

Children in Europe had to recite the oath of allegiance to the state for the last time in Germany under Hitler

When you don't have universal healthcare, you are not free. When people are tied to a system that keeps them trapped or else they are at risk of losing access to healthcare, you are slaves.
