Fun fact: the actor who voiced commander vandy (Michael biehn) has now officially been killed by the terminator, a xenomorph, and now a predator. He joins his fellow actor bill paxton who shared similar demises

Ursa : strength 9/10
Ninja : dexterity 9/10
Torres : LUCK 100000/10

The final predator cape was actually made from alien tails, pretty cool IMO

The brothers were not gonna fight each other when the Yautja was invisible against the tree. That's what the director wanted the audience to believe until we see the leaf fall and rest on the Predator

The sequence in The Sword where hes trying to stop the 2 guards from banging the bell was so good tho 👌

I do not think the characters were picked because they were the strongest fighters of their time, I think they were picked because they each killed a Predator. That caused them do be deemed "worthy" by the Predator race.

There is another after credits scene that shows not only the Prey girl, but also Harriagn and Dutch frozen in pods.

So fun fact about the WW2 stuff scene: I believe the Americans were fighting the Vichy off the coast of Morocco (still technically the N. Atlantic). The Vichy were fascist French and were allied with the Nazis during WWII until the Allies landed in Morocco and wrecked them.

People usually attribute the "low fps animation" or animated in 2s style to Spiderverse or Arcane, but it was used "first" in The Peanuts Movie to stylize it in a way that would look closer to the cartoon/comic strips, rather than a regular computer animation.

as a mexican american and navy veteran i fucking loved the WWII dog fight story. yes it was the weakest but i loved it because it was he was more brains than brawn which they dont normally do for us mexicans.

Big fan of giving the predators different size and looks.

That X-Men shirt actually looks cold af with the green screen effect

I like how the WW2 Predator looked like General Chang from The Undiscovered Country

Joe eating good on the latest predator releases

Id like to see anyone who can hold on to the outside of anything when you have 300mph winds blowing at you. 😂

Other Joe: 8
Alex: 8
Angry Joe: 8

A rare screenshot of Alex sort of smiling alongside OJ and Angry Joe!

37:15. It was Vichy France, they say so in the episode. I believe the fleet at the end was Italian though.

Im a huge fan of instead of just giving us the predator race story we are instead exploring the different tribes of the predators. You can tell this tribe are less heavy tech influence and more "traditional" possibly type of tribe per the king. Same tribe shown in prey and will probaly play a role in badlands. Really really love that idea of the predator home world being made up of 100s of tribes with different cultures and leaders.

The collectible tapes in Predator: Hunting Grounds added some background lore the boys might not know. AFAIK it's still considered canon:

- The Predator-Killer suit from the end of "The Predator" ended up being mothballed, as researchers found the armor was brittle and used up too much power.

- Keyes (Jake Busey) survived the events of "The Predator" and led a new version his dad's Other Wordly Life Forms Program (OWLF) after Stargazer was shut down.

- Dutch joined OWLF, got his youth restored by experimental alien tech, and ended up leading his own anti-Predator task force.

- Isabelle and Royce from "Predators" survived until Royce gained the Predators' respect and got inducted as one of them, getting his own armor and ship. He sent Isabelle back to Earth in an escape pod and stayed behind.
