In a park, a little dog with dirty, unkempt fur hid whenever anyone approached. Several people who fed her had grown fond of her. A man brought her food and water for three days, slowly earning her trust. Along the way, he met a father and daughter and a family of three who were caring for her too. After a mother gave him a leash, he finally took her out of the park for a checkup, a bath, and a trim, and named her Qiqi. A week later, Qiqi was playful and affectionate. Whenever he called, she came racing toward him.
