He looked up at her like he knew she was about to decide his future.
A few days ago, this little boy's family gave him up because he can't walk. His back legs are paralyzed and he's blind in one eye. Today I carried him to the vet to ask the question I've been too scared to ask: will he ever walk again? Her answer wasn't the one I expected, and it changed everything about what comes next for him.
After that, I bought my dogs their very first bag of real kibble, food my lost dog Rio never once got to taste. Then I turned a foam box someone threw away into a little house, just for him. Wait until you see his face when he crawls inside.
❤️ HOW YOU CAN HELP
I'll be honest with you. I don't have much. Vet visits, calcium for his legs, medicine and food for five dogs add up fast. And right now the owner of the land I work on has asked me and the dogs to leave, so I'm also searching for a new place for all of us. I won't give up on any of them. Any amount, even the smallest, goes straight to their food, medicine and a safe place to live. If you can't give, sharing this video helps just as much. I'll keep showing you exactly how the dogs are doing and where we end up.
This is Rio's Farm: the dogs I rescue out in the Vietnamese countryside, and the search for my own lost dog, Rio. Every dog I save, I save for him.
🐾 This brave little boy still needs a name. Leave your idea in the comments, I read every one.
📩 And if you've ever seen Rio, please share this video.

The vet thinks his legs might be a calcium problem, so there's still a chance he could walk one day. He's on calcium every day now, and I'll keep showing you how he's doing.
I have to be honest with you too. Caring for four dogs on almost nothing is hard, and right now the owner of the land I work on has asked me and the dogs to leave. I'm searching for a new place for all of us, and I won't leave any of them behind.
If you'd like to help with his calcium, vet visits, food, and a safe new home, you can support us here:

Every dollar goes to the dogs. If you can't give, a share or a kind comment means just as much.
And one question for you: do you think his legs will get stronger? Tell me below. ❤️ — Huy
