3:34 - The "MG" stands for Military Green and refers to the color in the Companion line. The thicker blade is dsignated by "HD" which means Heavy Duty.

Just watched the Mora rep show how the Eldris sheath goes on the handle to lengthen it just like the cap on a pen.

Moras are like tattoos...you can't have just one

@joashloh8374 7 years ago

I got a mora when I was seven and 20 years later I am still using one

511 is one of the best knives in the world. Nothing beats it in value for money

Here in Sweden, every kid (usually born in the 90s or earlier) got a Mora Scout from their parents. Usually a good introduction Knife on how to handle Knives.

It's a tradition.

I own the Robust, Companion HD, and Woodcarving 120. With these there is nothing I can’t do. The quality and affordability make them second to none.

@adamplumpton4440 3 years ago

Kansbol hands down is the best mora.

As a Mora customer/user, I would definitely recommend a Mora Robust to anyone looking for a small budget friendly fixed blade for even just all around use. This was my EDC knife for a bit, really the only complaint I had about the Robust is that the sheath clip may open up overtime, I don’t like that much. Other than that, awesome knife!

@williamcolvin3609 7 years ago

All the Swedish people make the comment that the Mora knives are only a $2.00 everyday of the week knife,that the people in other countries are being ripped off on price.

@crosshair64 8 years ago

I own a half dozen Mora knives, and dozens of knives more than a couple hundred dollars, and I have no complaints when it comes to my mora's. I have batoned a truck load of wood with my companion, with no problems whatsoever.... Bushcraft black, Mora heavy duty, and Robust just to name a few, and they all kick a$$...... I would like to thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions on these awesome blades, I appreciate it gentlemen. God bless you and your families.

Good to know: The belt loop of the 511 isn't just a belt loop. It's also a "button loop". Slide it over a large button on your Blåkläder work clothes and it will sit nicely there. Super common here in Sweden. It's interesting, but I've never seen the Mora knives as survival knives or bushcraft knives. To me (and I would guess most other swedes) they're just your everyday workhorse; to some extent probably because of the price. I've seen classic Mora knives looking like the small carver, but that have actually been ground down due to usage over the years. My favourites would probably be the large classic and the normal classic with a guard (basically a normal-sized Scout). Really fun to see Mora knives feature so prominently in bug-out and survival videos and really really fun to see an entire video about them.

I had a Mora scout when I started hunting in the 80s and lost it. Damn I miss that knife! Great knife dressed my first buck with it.

Moras are so good for emergency kits and just having fun around the campsite. Cool video!

@ncode03 4 years ago

This is old video but I just got my first Mora knife and it was the companion stainless steel. Didn't know it was the highest in ratings because I just went with the most practical for me.

@BiffWaltman 7 years ago

I bought Mora Garberg in leather sheath on Amazon for $55 before Xmas 2018 (for myself). My second Garberg and 4th Mora.

@19TE72 8 years ago

Never seen the mora scout??? Just kidding. I'm Swedish and that one was pretty much everyone's first knife. I got mine when I was six. 40 years ago now. :) A great little knife.
Thanks for the video..
