I can swear Pod Racer on N64 looked just as good when I played it. N64 powered by nostalgia graphics.

this would go hard in VR

Now THIS is Pod Racing!

I must have this. I played the old pod racer game SO MUCH when i was younger.

"You won the race, lad! You won the Star Wars!" had me absolutely cackling like an idiot to myself.

Being on Tatooine gives me HUGE Motorstorm vibes, especially with the boost mechanic capable of making you self-destruct

I always forget and then get jumpscared by Jack's being a Star Wars mega fan droping names and lore left and right lol

episode 1 Racer is a classic when games were made with quality so anything close to that is a bonus

I enjoy the true depth of your Star Wars geekdom coming out.

Also, your Liverpool accent was 10/10.

Honestly the world needed this game :)

I see a lot of "Motorstorm" in this game. Motorstorm was such an amazing chaotic racer.

I love seeing the nostalgia crowd! We are so back lol

This actually looks like a proper Star Wars racing game❤

@9:47 that species is called the Kallidahin and in the movies, they're seen on the asteroid field called Polis Massa. The plant where Padme birthed Luke and Leia. Many people call them Polis Massans, but their true species is called the Kallidahin.

I want to play this in VR with my flight sim gear!

Imagen having an Open world StarWars universe where you can race on custom circuits on land you own, walk around towns/cities and hang out with players, customising your characters outfit, racer,  trade parts and place bets to make things interesting, do side race quests to gain rep to be "noticed" to get into a qualifier so you can race more daring challenges. All while the universe has a "war" in the background that changes the circuits on each planet depending on favoured reputations by player masses...... All that aside, this game looks fun.

Star Wars theme + burnout type mechanics? Sign me up

Man I'm old. So glad to get a star wars racing game. Butnout did great

Episode I Racer was one of THE core games of my childhood! I'll definitely have to look into this one! :O

It makes me want to have a full immersive open world Star Wars gale of this quality, with pod racing being of the activities in a living world.
