The engine sounds are immaculate.

Thank you for being the first one I've seen to point out that commentary was required by an NDA.

I can stop searching in vain for footage without commentary, then.

Podracers are still the coolest thing to come out of Star Wars. Chariot racing is such a swords n' sorcery kinda activity, replace the horses with comically huge get engines and now it's Star Wars. Kind of bummed that they seem to be treated as the equivalent of 200CC mode rather than being the focus, as cool as the game is otherwise.

The sound design is exquisite

I wish they added more pod racing vehicles, or allowed you to make a custom one. I like the classic ones but it would be nice to have more variety.

If they made this VR compatible where you could turn your head to look around at potential other racers about to ram you, itd be so sick

2:46 I can hear Sebulba his chugging engines with my headphones on, love that the podracers have their own engine sounds, something '99 Racer lacked. My most anticipated game of this year, if I'm honest. I truly hope they will do a podrace expansion and give us some classic tracks form the original game. Very excited! I'd also like to thank you for showing us some different camera angles gameplay, something many CC did not add in their footage. Great narration too, you got yourself a new sub.

That "behind the driver seat" in the landspeeder race feels great.

Anyone remember that a game like this came out in the early 2ks? Seems like they're just putting a new skin on it.

Teemto was always one of my favorate pod designs, but I don't love the way the chase came makes it look/feel so much in this game. i think it's just due to the focal length. Pod looks huge, and engines look small and close together. Ah well. Game looks incredible in general though, I'm so stoked.

Ive watched this multiple times now and Teemto gets one word of shit talk out and you immediately giving him some Boonta Eve PTSD still cracks me up

This game looks so fun! Had me screaming during the last round of the first race. You didn’t crash like you did in the first two laps at the same spot.
