I never really believed that after suffering a major stroke over 4 years ago I’d be relegated to using a wheelchair as often as I do (several hours per day actually) nor did I perceive my stroke deficits(left side hemiparesis /permanent left arm paralysis & left foot drop compounded by resolved/drug -managed epilepsy& an extreme muscle spasticity) after watching this, however I’m now realizing the necessity of being “fitted” for a wheelchair to better accommodate my needs. Thank you for sharing your experience… 4+ years in the same refurbished  manual wheel chair isn’t doing me any favors!!

I used manual wheelchairs all my life, but i changed to power chairs at age 23 because i wasn't strong enough to push my chair around anymore. I salute those of you who still use manual wheelchairs.

Quickies are my 2nd best wheelchair but I found my perfect wheelchair that I'll be getting for the rest of my life and that's a carbon fiber Motion Composites Apex. The best-built wheelchair that I ever had and I've been using different types for 35 years now.

You have all my respect and admiration beautiful lady!!! You are a warrior queen!!! Blessings always!!! ❤️💪🏼🙏🏻

God bless you dear

love the new wheelchair

Firstly the new wheels do look quite cool especially the Red embellishments, so pleased your happy with it 😊 secondly please don’t be disappointed in yourself, you really  are a very accomplished young lady and I admire you so please don’t suffer in silence thanks for sharing your joys and your problems, I’m listening  ok 😜

Looks strangely like the Motion Composites Apex, that’s a pretty sweet chair with the natural fit hand rims, no more getting thumb knuckles caught ☺️

The new one looks gorgeous and I like that it has less spokes. :)

I understand how physically and emotionally taxing transporting your wheelchair can be. That's why I am looking into getting the Revolve Air wheels or wheelchair. Or some other form of a compact wheelchair as my back up chair and if in the future I need to use it with non accessible vehicle. Hopefully you'll find ways to make the process easier for you in the future.

I love watching your videos. your advice and situations that you share are an inspiration to many of us. Kind regards, beautiful woman

Nice chair.

Thanks for sharing, I salute you overcoming obstacles. The vlog did seem to end with happiness. I'm sure that you would master loading the wheelchair if you did it often and  the car was better suited to that situation.

Gracias por tus videos amiga, saludos desde Lima-Peru

Very beautiful beautiful chair and you are more beautiful

Sincerely, happy you've got a better fitting WC. Any guess to it's weight as configured? Like the look of it, sits higher, less dump. And, about the struggles with no assistance...well... is good to know help is there if you need it. But, it may be better to simply live like there'll never be help when you need it the most. Is kind of an approach to adaptive living as i do it. Hopefully, that's not too presumptuous to say but wanted to share it. Have a blessed day...

Love your new ride & thank you for sharing,  I believe you well become very accustomed to it in no time at all. I myself am not looking forward to going through the process of getting a new chair, it always such a hassle 🙃  and I do understand the frustration and the struggle of trying to get the chair in and out of the car/van. Another trick that i have seen on pulling it across you would be to place your seat belt on and lean your chair all the way back if your well go back, this gives you more room to work with. I hope all u hat is wrong with your car is as simple as a fuse. Take care and have a great day!!!

Bravo girl ❤
