I feel bad for these 3 heroes. Their wings were taken away because of the injuries they sustained. You can tell by this interview, they still want to fly. 😭

My heart goes out to the brave pilots Jim Tucker, Andy Peterson, and Dave Standers of Flight 705 who fought back against Auburn R. Calloway, and it's a miracle that Calloway failed his mission. It's very sad that the pilots, because of their injuries, could never fly again, but at least they're alive and with their families, and that's more important in my eyes. At least Calloway got what he deserved and got life in federal prison with no chance of parole.

It must've taken shock and hysterical strength to survive and land that plane and keep their attacker subdued. The crew of FedEx 705 not only saved themselves but probably FedEx itself, from a vengeful, disgruntled and disturbed coworker. It should also be known Auburn Calloway is still imprisoned to this day and that the plane involved N306FE continued to fly for FedEx until 2022.

For those who haven't, please read the book Hijacking: The True Story of the Heroes of Flight 705 by Dave Hirschman. It's a good read, and it delves into the reality of the situation, thought processes, as well as the aftermath.

I think that any other crew would have lost. They win partly because of they navy past and partly because 3vs1 left one able to fly plane. My thoughts
