Movies do that all the time when the alt or goth girl is “troubled” and at the end she has blonde hair in a pink dress and is “fixed” it’s the worst trope

They're worried about women getting too swole to control

Man, demon lore has fallen so far since when The Exorcist came out.  It's gone from heads doing full 360-degree turns to "not skipping leg day."

How come for men it's always "start going to church" and for women it's always "stop doing anything else?"

They just hate the thought of women who can resist SA.

The biggest problem with Christians saying “demons were in me” (or similar things) is that they refuse to take responsibility for anything they do. The first lady who says she took steroids and exercised excessively basically had a drug addiction. She isn’t a bad person for that but part of recovery is accepting responsibility for your actions.

If you always put it on “the devil” “the enemy” “demons” etc you never learn, never grow, never have to work through those drivers of these behaviors because you replace the drug or other addiction with the addiction of pedestalizing Jesus

Also, these people have never heard of farm girls. Some of the strongest people in the world are farmers. Women very much included.

Evangelical men are intimidated by powerful women.

If buff women are the demonic, then I WILL BE SATAN'S MOST LOYAL SERVANT

My MORONIC family thinks this. I can leg press over 800 lbs, bench over 140 as a woman and they are worried about my salvation and ability to marry. This tracks…

Why are all so many of these stories "I had serious issues, but instead of seeking professional help, I chose religion so that I can blame it on demons/make money out of it"?

Biblical Jesus: love all
Evangelicals: hate all unless they conform our very specific idea of christianity and how we think they should look

It's odd that so many of these born again Christian girlies think that a 'jesus glow up' means becoming blonde. It's giving crunchy vibes.

Her addiction to fitness is now just an addiction to the holy spirit. She switched to a different coping mechanism that takes over her entire personality... It makes me sad.

Where can I get one of these gym obsessed demons? My demons just make me eat pizza a lot.

This first woman is describing a form of bulimia. Binging followed by a purge (in her case, she’s over exercising to compensate), accompanied by body dysmorphia. She’s describing addiction - at their core, EDs are the same. She deserves compassion, however, applying supernatural thinking to VERY DANGEROUS mental illnesses is not the example to set. If church helped her, great, I hope recovery is successful. But one man’s compliment is another man’s insult. Someone close to me attributed my own recovery to their personal prayers. I was livid and reminded them that god had every chance to help me for a decade, but only I knew how to save myself.

If you’re recovering from an ED, it isn’t your fault and it isn’t a demon. It CAN be resolved, and you do have the power to do so. Don’t let anyone (or any entity 😉) convince you otherwise. You are stronger than you think.

if buff women are demonic i guess im a worshipper of satan

Now she goes to church 7 times a day. Perfectly normal

The easiest way to move past an addiction is to replace it with another. And it sound like to me, personally, she still has anxiety issues. She just redirected they hyperfixation of where her anxiety is focused on.
