Ahh, the la croix of books. A hint of a hint of romantasy. Transported in a truck near Tolkein. A fond memory of actual plot and logic.

The nickname “wildling” gave me lightlark flashbacks so intense it felt like whiplash. will we never be free 😭

@TheLadyLiddell 5 days ago

With that description of the love interest, I'm just imagining handsome Squidward for this entire book.

@goblingrimm01 5 days ago

The thick cream gushing followed by heat and fever sounds like a yeast infection of sorts lol. These books are crazy.

This kind of spice is like a hot sauce that's so obsessed with its place on the scoville scale that it forgot to actually taste good 💀 Ty for transmuting a book I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole into entertainment actually worth consuming!

I will never be over "me digits" and I can't believe it's now right back at the forefront of my mind

“There’s no time. I must get you inside before the sun rises.”

Is he a vampiric dragon?

@blueheronpronouns 5 days ago

Kaminari is literally just Japanese for 'lightning' and Raijin means 'thunder god'. Something tells me the dragons have electricity powers.

As a dragon fan, I wish we could go back to 2015 when all the dragon shifter romances had shirtless men or terrible 3D dragon art on the covers.

@Crossfaide 5 days ago

I'm like 70% sure the pictures in the back of the book are "mood board inspo✨" reference material, and doesn't actually have any ties to the book itself.

8:40 I'm crying they just plastered different (AI) stock photos together😭🙏

You are a stronger woman than I am. I would have thrown that book out of the window at the first mention of bond/gushing/cream.

fourth wing didn't catch a stray, it was totalled when the author ran that red light

Just be naming books with a randomizer nowadays

"We're back in Fourth Wing territory" hey, right on time for Threshing Day!

Am I crazy or is it always silver in these books? (genuinely curious) What about mercury or gallium, metals known for how easily they’re liquified? Bismuth, perhaps, turning into something far more colorful and beautiful when melted and cooled? (a heavy handed metaphor for a test of character for those in a relationship)
