Matt always looks like hes barely keeping his anger in check at any given moment. Its my favorite thing about him, i know he would call me a slur irl, and thats great 😂

There are many entertainers on youtube running around yapping about firearms.
Tenicor has been cranking out legit info and interviews.

The “pAPeR dOnT sHoOt bACK” people are gonna hate this

Man I've been loving these  discussions.
Please keep doing them

Got to love Matt's brutal, straight-forward honesty. Love it. Also, he is obviously a very intelligent dude.

Had a local LEO swat team came to our monthly “USPSA style” rifle only match 4 stages with targets from 5-75yds. Most of them were very arrogant and frankly rude to other shooters about their gear and not being on SWAT… They got   SMOKED!! lol heard them saying “how are they shooting that fast” one of the guys came back and continued to and is really good now, the other’s egos I guess wouldn’t allow them to show their face 🤷🏼‍♂️

It's remarkable that we can absorb wisdom from Matt Pranka for free on youtube.  It's one of the best deals out there.  Good video.

Holy Shit we need a Brass Knuckles video from Pranka

12:55 - 1000% accurate.  People who say matches don't help you become a better shooter, or even that they work against you in a real-world scenario are only saying that because of ego.

As a 25 year LE trainer and formerly owning a training company. I learned quickly, most people want excitement, if I could slightly improve someone’s shooting and make it exciting  and “tactical” the classes were full every weekend. People pay for fun and I believe most training in LE and the civilian world is still that way for the most part. Most are not dedicated enough put in the time and effort in dry fire, go to the range and test it, hit a couple of local USPSA matches a month and pressure test it.

Great to see the full interview, the clip of “I’ll just go tape this target and go fuck myself” always gets me. And the videos of him in Ben’s jersey’s need to be posted for sure

For me, competition has been the single best driver of my shooting performance. I was always a gun guy. And probably THE gun guy of my group of friends. After shooting one match i got humbled. I was nowhere as good as i thought i was, and got to work.
It's most definitely a journey and the process is everything. Once you eat that humble pie and set your ego aside, a whole new world opens up.

The fact Matt mentioned pankration is elite. King.  Proudly repoing it in Sydney

The more I listen to Matt Pranka, the more I realize how rare his breed is. A true warrior. No frills, just the real deal. Backed by experience at a level that I couldn’t imagine.

Thank you for being there when we needed you!

Matt Pranka... The real deal, thank you

I couldn't stand Matt Pranka the first time I saw him on a live stream, then I started listening to what he actually had to say and I realized he's 100% right. I think I didn't like him because what he was saying directly applied to me. I was just an enthusiast with a lot of opinions. Since then I started taking pistol shooting seriously and started competing. He's right, you can't duplicate the nerves you experience going into a match and learning to manage that is invaluable. I no longer spend my range time larping cqb tactics I'll never utilize.

Such a simple video with good conversation and no fluff. Everything about this was cool.

Pranka did not forget his breakfast today.

On a real note, I always love to hear him drop some knowledge, and it’s amazing how many people legitimately get so upset at him for just saying,”We have under qualified people training other people, we need more shooting skills, not tactic skills.”

Matt has been one of the most vocal mil guys talking about training and competitive shooting. He isn’t the only one, but he might be the loudest. Props to him for what he’s contributed to the shooting and training community!

This convo and your other conversations with Mark Smith for example are exactly what the gun world needs.  If we stigmatize quality training over "enter-trainment" we can shift the zeitgeist to a more productive and beneficial gun/training culture.
