A Zen Audiophile Basement: Where Hi-Fi, Bauhaus & Japanese Design Meet
Life In Small Spaces
398,358 views
Step inside a wonderfully curated basement that blends high-fidelity sound with thoughtful design. This audiophile’s retreat features vintage and collector-grade hi-fi gear, Scandinavian and Bauhaus influences, and a strong nod to Japanese minimalism. Custom-built furniture, black-and-white photography, sci-fi books, a vintage bike, and deeply personal family photos create a space that’s both serene and soulful. Clean and white in some moments, moody and atmospheric in others. A masterclass in how listening, living, and design can coexist beautifully.
Trained as a product designer, Dan, the home owner, understands how to make beautiful things functional, and functional things feel beautiful. Now a fine art photographer, if you'd like to explore more of his work, you can see it here: https://www.danderby.com
