One of Deadpool's powers is that he knows he's in a comic book, often talks directly with the readers, and even comments on the story structure he's trapped in. 😯😯😯

45:24 -- Finally! Someone who's seen Ferris Bueller, prior to this movie. I was worried that the comment section was going to have to explain it.

Yes, you need to watch Blade.

Funny thing, none of the randoms Deadpool was asking "where's Francis" knew who he was talking about. They all knew him as Ajax... 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I get a huge kick out of the part where Deadpool says "Wait!! You're probably wondering why the red suit? Well, that's so bad guys don't see me bleed. This guy's got the right idea, he wore the brown pants." 😆😆🤣🤣
I swear, Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. He nailed the character so damn well.

Technically characters like Deadpool and Ajax are what is called a "mutate".  People who gained superhuman abilities via means outside of the X gene. Although sometimes this includes people in possession of a recessive X gene but have had it activated by unnatural means, such as experimentation. Spiderman and Captain America are both sometimes considered to be mutates due to how they gained their abilities (however, this classification is inconsistent).

Knew you would love this. That opening sequence is one of my favorites of all time. It is just utter madness and perfection. And then it transitions into the scene when he's at that guy's apartment waiting for the stalker. It's one thing after another and it never lets up.

Fun fact - before the big finale, when Wade forgets his bag of guns in Dopinder’s taxi, this was a famous "mistake" and a clever writing trick used to navigate a sudden $7 million budget cut from the studio.

This is one of my favorite series.

When my brother got married I performed the ceremony dressed as Deadpool. I was the only one in costume, but one of our friends was standing in the background playing Careless Whisper on a boombox

Hi Kyla!
1:54 - Wade Wilson had exceptional target accuracy both with guns and manual throws when he was just a Special Forces soldier.  In this film he gains a mutant ability to heal body damage.  I don't know if you have seen any of the X-Men movies, but this one is directly connected to them.
24:34 - Ryan Reynolds was in the Green Lantern movie, where his supersuit was green, and animated.  🙂
32:07 - Yes, that was Stan Lee.  Stan didn't create the Deadpool character, but he did create the X-Men along with artist Jack Kirby.  Deadpool started out as a villain in that comics series, and this film includes some of the X-men as characters.
50:31 - Deadpool & Wolverine references many other Marvel movies and characters, which if you haven't seen them you will be going "who's that?" a lot.  If you tell us which Marvel/MCU stuff you have seen we can tell you what else you should watch/get told about to get all the references.
When I say "Marvel" I mean everything they have created.  MCU refers specifically to the connected film series that started with Iron Man (2008)

I"ve never said this,but don"t swallow.

Joining you with shots of a PA Bourbon from 'Cart/Horse' distilling that i picked up at the Edinboro arts & music fest.

Shout out to your hippies, artists, musicians, drafters and crafters of all sort.

The only unbelievable parts were when Ajax took his injuries. He has strength and doesn't feel pain, but he still takes damage. When he was stabbed through the chest during the final fight he should have bled out.

Finally! A reactor who recognizes the Ferris Bueller reference!!!

I love your reactions

Pre-congrats on 7k!! Should he 10x, but I know 7k is in your immediate future!! 🙌

Great reaction <3 only 4 movies it's all you need for the DP journey : DP 1, Logan, DP2 and DP & Wolverine. New sub

Nagasonic Teenage Warhead was indeed a real comic book X-men character. She appeared once with one line before she died. After the movie, she was resurrected back for more comic book appearances.

You haven’t watched Blade 😮🤷🤯mind blown. We gotta watch that with you Kanpai I think you’ll love it. Great reaction as always. When u look at the camera and say “LOL” it cracks me up every time 😂 keep up the good work.
