No seriously, angela’s actor is great because there is not a moment that she’s on screen when i’m not seething 😭 she’s so insufferable.

Not only did Max see the death of her brother in front of her, but also his final act was protecting her and her friends. That's gonna cause some emotions and trauma that NEED to be talked about

my maternal instincts for lucas are SO STRONG!! max and lucas deserve to be happy together forever!!

The way I was ugly crying, snot coming out of my nose, hyperventilating when Max was blinded and crying to Lucas about how she doesn't want to die-- that scene changed me to my CORE. In a way, I feel like all of us viewers were Eleven in that moment. Not physically there but feeling all of it and just wanting to be there for these characters who've been through SO much.

I hate how Stranger Things invites her to watch the premiere because of her iconic videos and then proceeds to block her iconic videos 😭

@39:45 it’s funny vecna’s hand is based off freddy krueger since his dad victor is potrayed by robert englund, the og actor for freddy krueger

very sad fact: the s4 premiere dropped RIGHT after a mass crime in a texas school, so iirc when netflix posted the first 5 minutes, they had to issue condolences and a trigger warning to youtube watchers about the violence of the scene

15:38 I love how Joyce is always doing the most unhinged and seemingly unrelated thing at the beginning of the season. The Christmas lights! The magnets! Breaking the Russian doll! 😂👏🏽🎄🧲🪆🧩✨

Jonathan as a character is so underrated. He is an amazing brother, he pays extra attention to Will. He was able to tell he was sad because Mike didn’t have feelings for Will and knew how to reassure him. Not only that, but the small details like when everyone is hugging outside the cabin, Will is standing separated from the group, everyone else hugging someone except for Jonathan, Jonathan is watching his brother, ensuring he is okay and acting as a guardian angel to him.

the combo of this and Ash's stranger things recap has me feeling so prepared for S5 because i forgot Mike and Nancy even had a 3rd sibling. I was like who tf is Holly

8:04 I still genuinely don’t understand how the boys can’t understand that Lucas can’t get an entire basketball rescheduled on his account. I’m soooo on his side here. Like who even thinks like that? Wouldn’t you have planned stuff around the ball games if possible and had that talk beforehand?? It actually doesn’t make any sense. Who doesn’t consider everyone’s schedules when they plan their D&D games?
