V is blind in his right eye. When she covers it so he can't see the end... that chokes me up every time.

Finally seeing your reaction. IU is deaf and mute while Tae is one eyed blind, their chemistry is exceptional, also IU voice is like an angel and both of their acting  are sooooooo incredible. Hoping for their movie together someday. 🥰💛💜

She grabbed his chest and squeezed 3 times meaning “I love you”
I think the people in black symbolize those who passed already.
She protected him until the very end because of his vision. He stepped forward to defend her in the end.
She had flu
Please watch behind the scene.

There are so many layers of story telling and metaphors and the director has explained what the storyline is. It’s a beautiful way for him to convey the message. In addition to this one part of my interpretation is based on the fact that Tae is blind in one eye and has burn scars around that eye. You can see at the beginning he is looking vulnerable, fragile and afraid. IU is leading him and is protective throughout. My interpretation is that he had encountered the cube before and narrowly escaped being captured and so is going through all the emotions from it. At the end, you see IU trying to protective him by picking up the metal bar because (to me) she knows what he went through and wants to protect him. And Tae taking the bar and attacking the cube looks to me like he knows what the cube is capable of and despite his fear of it, he wants to protect her. At the end it didn’t work and you can see the cube glow red with heat and smoke coming off their bodies (burn marks around his eyes). The ending was so poignant.

The song was amazing and felt more epic because of the storyline and visuals. They have great chemistry, first with the amazing duet they did on IU’s Palette and now with their acting skills, not to mention their interactions as friends. It’s so good to see Tae being able to express his acting skills even in a 5minute short. I hope he starts doing movies on his return. This movie really makes everyone feel emotional and they did that with their facial expressions, truly stunning. IU is queen for a reason and Tae our idol of idols never disappoints in his unique take on life and the choices he makes, whether to make an album of music he likes or to act in a short film all choices with a sad, emotionally moving ending. He wants his artistry to move us emotionally rather than hit the top spots on charts. Love these two artists. It’s time to stop calling this kpop.

These two with their amazing acting, packed in 5 mins all the emotions to convey the storyline (top tier level) that most kdramas do in 16 episodes.

The cube 'Nemo' represents the discrimination towards marginalized people (symbolized in IU being mute and Taehyung being blind in one eye).
They stayed together till the end with their love sustained, free from all oppression and pressure from society.
LOVE WINS ALL!

Love is directly connected to God because it is peace and contentment even when in the midst of a storm or at the end of life. Their love won because it looked past their disabilities (blindness and deafness), and it won again when she was scared, but was able to put her own fear aside to cover his eye, and it won because they stuck with each other until the very end. Love is not being alive, love is peace and strength that does not make sense to most people. Not saying that is what they were going for lol, that is just my response to "How did love win?"

The way y'all's faces changed when the cube came back 😭
Agree with your read. Some people said "they float away and escape!" Hah...imo, nope.
Loved this mv. 5 minute movie. IU sounding ethereal.

Love wins all because they they loved each other so much, they preferred to die together. When V returns from military service, I hope that he and IU make this a kdrama. Even if we already know what will happen to them, it would be nice to see how they met, fell in love and when the invasion started.

Yall are stronger then me the way I full on cried by the end of my first watch 😭

You should check out the BTS for this MV too for more IU x V!
IUTV and BangtanTV have their own version of the MV BTS.

The director did say viewers can have their own interpretation.
The camcorder serves as a filter and allows imagination to roam freely. Everything is imagination through the camcorder.
Reality resumes when you see their wounds and tattered clothes.
In the end, the two of them are seen ascending to a better place through the camcorder, while they are eradicated in reality.
So sad. So beautiful. So brutally real. The director did say viewers can have their own interpretation.

Finally! I was waitng for your reactions guys The fact is : It can't  get much better than V✨🤯❤ Their chemistry sooo natural & captivating just amazing!! Omgg!! I can't wait to watch both of them work together movies, dramas & more music project in various genres in future

V seems that he can't see only with his right side eye (but can use left eye) so IU covered his left eye to protect it.

Her voice brings a tear to my eye. It’s so powerful…

The "Cube of Death", just destroying a perfect relationship. :')
IU and Taehyung are a match made in heaven.💜💜🤍🤍

There is two LWA MV behind the scene shoot sketch  there to react to it  ❤😭  Please do reaction  both shoot sketch together first  IU tv then Bangtan tv  you guys love it ✌Thanks🙏

Actually they win love!!! Bcz they were together when they need each others the most!!! So their "love wins all" ❤✨

You can tell who Army is by the very ending of the video as the clothes are falling from the sky…when they land on the pile and Army has reaction to it…most reactors don’t get the pile of clothes💜

Better storytelling than most movies. Actors who can convey so much without dialogue blow my mind, they were incredible. And the SONG... oh my god. The whole experience is heartbreaking. Watch more times, you find more.

The reactions of all 3 of u are so coordinated😂😂😂
