This was such a fun watch! Glad RNG was nice to you on a lot of the tougher hunts in this quest. Congrats on completing the quest, it was awesome watching these stack up in real-time through discord 🔥

This is the beginning of the dystopian era of Toasty videos. Farming perfect clones of your best friend is just the morally gray pokemon content we want

Now Ribbon Master all of em

alolan shiny hunting method is so funny to me, youre just terrorizing one pokemon to keep calling for help, killing whoever comes to its aid and then continuing to torment it until you get one that looks different and suddenly its dead

Scizor is a Pokemon that will always be special to me because I have a core childhood memory attached to it. All the way back when Gold and Silver first came out (I was like 7-8 at the time) I remember seeing it and loving it but never knowing how to get one. I was so young I didn't even know it evolved from Scyther at the time, I even ran around trying to find a Scizor in the wild. I was fixated on getting one. I remember going to my friend/classmate Nina's house to play when her older brother (who was like 12-13 at the time) came back from the store with their mom. He seen me in the living room when he walked in, he excitedly asked me if I brought my GameBoy and I said yes I did. He said his mom bought him a link cable as an early birthday gift and we're each going to get a Scizor! He said that Nina told him that Scizor was my favorite and that I didn't know how to get one. He said "Don't worry little buddy I got you! You'll have your Scizor in a couple minutes!" I was so happy I thought I was going to cry! (I know it sounds stupid but I was 7-8 and loved Pokemon and wanted a Scizor so badly) We connected our GameBoy's with the cable (It was my first time ever seeing one, didn't even know they were a thing) and he traded me a Scyther with the Metal Coat and it evolved! Then we traded it back to him. He said "Okay now we get you one!". The gem he was, when he realized I didn't have a Scyther he did the Bug Catching Contest for me, got me the Metal Coat and everything. We did the trade and I had my Scizor. I nicknamed him Aaron which was the brother's name. Scizor is still one of my favorites to this day and every time I use one in a playthrough I nickname it Aaron because of him.

25:38 If you haven't completed the story yet, N's Castle is a place you can't visit again after defeating him. Once you arrive there I think you can come and go as you please.

Okay hear me out on the spare Scyther. You're probably the first to have a shopping mall shiny Scyther…and you could ALSO be the second!

I love the ending of the video, where you basically say, "It's too easy to find shinies in ScarVio, so I'm going to turn the Terarium into an infinite Scizor dimension and have a montage of shinies." It's just beautiful seeing those endless fields of Scizor.

Toast is building an army of fully baked minions.

I was really confused when you named a shiny Scizor Tostada because I thought you had already named a shiny Scizor tostada

I was organizing my boxes. I named MY shiny Scizor Tostada. Because of Toast

1:08:33 I can explain exactly why that is. In Scarlet and Violet, the effects a sandwich will have is dependent on two things: ingredients used and flavor profile. Using two Herba Mystica will always result in having Shining and Title power, with the third slot being filled by whatever effect has the most points.

Usually, this slot is determined by flavor profile, due to the gigantic amount of points that assigns, which is why the "how to make shining sandwiches for each type" usually has that gigantic list of ingredients to ensure that Encounter power is selected regardless of flavor profile. This is not one of those sandwiches, though neither does it have to be.

Understanding flavor profile isn't something that's needed, but it is why that sandwich is coming out differently.
With three hamburgers, one serving of lettuce, and one serving of tomato, this sandwich has a flavor profile of: Bitter (36 points), Salty (36 points), Sweet (26 points), and Sour (12) points. Flavor profile checks the two most prominent flavors (bitter and salty, in this case), and then gives 100 points towards a determined effect (Bitter-Salty gives Experience Power, for example).

However, when it comes to Herba Mystica, the flavor profile of a sandwich is going to rapidly change, because each Herba Mystica gives 500 points to its respective flavor, making everything else on the sandwich nearly irrelevant to anything other than determining type selected.
Emphasis on nearly irrelevant. See, the ingredients selected for this sandwich (hamburger, lettuce, and tomato) have HUGE amounts of Encounter power baked into them. 21 points each, for a total of 105 points, barely enough to beat out the 100 points granted to something else by flavor profile.

So, why does this one single sandwich give Catching power? Well, that's also simple. Those three ingredients also give Catching Power, though only 12 points each for 60 total. And the only flavor combo in the game that gives Catching Power is Sweet-Sour. So making this specific sandwich makes the flavor profile Sweet and Sour, making the score of Catching Power 160, outscoring Encounter power at its 105, and therefore - as a niche side effect of the ingredients selected to give as much Encounter Power as possible - a very small window is opened for this single flavor profile to break the 105 score barrier.

It's nice to spread some niche Scarlet and Violet sandwich knowledge, hoped this helped :D

The other Gen 5 Scyther would be cool to hatch in N's Castle, if there's a save that's incomplete.

"Nebulous Mark" would be an incredible possible mark for wormhole Pokémon in a future Legends Alola game

18:50 why is the “yippee” so cute 😭

if you're allowed to hatch eggs there (I don't see why you wouldn't be but idk) the Abyssal Ruins would be such a cool met location for the second shiny Scyther in gen 5

2:25 the way I flinched like an abused child

I can't wait to see Toast, CrunchyToast, Twoast, SoggyToast, Sloast, Toasterican, Baguette, SunBurntToast, SandyToast, BawtlOToasta, and ElToasto

The Horse Council are aware of Scizor's multi-dimensional existance and watch them with great interest.

The joke about how “reputable” the Game Corner was popped me lol. These Scizor videos are so cool and well done

Eventually SirToastyToes will run out of bread names for his army of green Scizor.
