Xpulse owner here, torque values from the workshop manual are as follows:

Cylinder head cover bolts 10 Nm
Tappet adjusting nut 14 Nm
Crankshaft hole cap 15 Nm
Timing hole cap (no torque specified)
Oil drain bolt 30 Nm
Crankcase right cover bolts 10 Nm
Oil centrifugal rotor cap screws 4 Nm

Note that the oil screen has a beveled side profile and the narrower edge should go inwards towards the crankcase when inserting.

1.2L oil is needed when changing oil WITHOUT opening the right crankcase cover to clean the oil screen and rotor. 1.4L oil is needed when performing the full service as done in the video.

I don't have a Hero X-pulse but found your video fascinating to watch, very clearly shown and explained.

Good work, Martin. By servicing it yourself you know everything has been done properly without any corners cut. And you've probably done it better, and with more care, than a dealer mechanic would do 👍

Thanks for the video, this will be really useful as I'm quite some distance from a dealer.  A really pleasant surprise that there's noone in the comments reeling off that you've voided the warranty.  Interesting to hear and read your views on semi vs fully synthetic oil too!

Pl check the following too. 1. RPM 1600+-100 on meter console. 2. Tyre 3. I have the same bike in India, there is bulge on Ceat tube near air washer. Hero service engineer says it is normal. I saw it due to puncher on front wheel. 4. Air filter check. 5. Break pad check. 6. Chain cleaning using WD40 esp near the engine sprocket. 7. You can do engine oil top up after 3000 miles. 8.. Frequent Mileage review controls. Great impressive video sir.
