My favourite part of season 1 of The Rings of Power was Nerdrotic's reviews of it

Morgoth, “I have sowed my seeds of corruption into every aspect of Middle Earth”
Amazon, “hold my beer…”

Amazons Ring of Disappointment can be summed up in one question..."Do you know why a ship floats but a stone cannot?"

I mean, I almost had a heart attack when I saw Galadriel smile. I can't imagine what it was like for the horse

We lost a hero when Christopher Tolkien died. He was totally devoted to preserving his father’s legacy and the accuracy of his works.

All hail Peter Jackson's team, Weta, and Howard Shore for putting together the greatest movie trilogy of all time.

"The horse died after reading the script"

Might be the funniest thing I've heard all day

My favourite part of season 1 of The Rings of Power was when Galadriel yelled 'give it to me raw!' and then Netflix's Cleopatra scissored her mount doom.

Remember when PJ's LOTR production was able to film in a protected area of New Zealand and they bent over backwards to ensure that a rare micro ecology wasn't impacted by building their Edoras set?
Weta set dressers: "Wouldn't be very true to Tolkien to go crashing about like a bull in a china shop, would it?"
Amazon: "We don't do that here." [revs chainsaw]

Rings of Power is turning out to be like a final boss, who you think you've finally destroyed, only to find out there's two more stages and your health is on the edge.

"it's not about money. Its about sending a message.
Everything burns!"

"The horse died March 21 of cardiac arrest…"
Nerdrotic: "…after reading the script”
Facts 🤣

The sad thing is, if you knew nothing of Tolkein and your first exposure to him was rings of power, you would not only not be impressed, you would have no idea of the scope of his work.

I don't want this show canceled. I want it to do the full walk of shame, blow all its budget on unwatchable crap that gets endlessly dog piled. I don't want Amazon to be able to quietly walk away from this disaster.

My favourite part were when Sauron said: "Writers? Where we're going we don't need writers!"

The death of the horse is even worse when you consider that this was the first death ever for the company that had loaned them the horse - and that this company (The Devil's Horsemen) has been around for @50 years.
As for the all female directing team: the "leader", Charlotte Brandstrom, was the only director kept after season 1...and one of her episodes had the infamous volcano in the face, as well as the badly directed battle.
