So basically Irys is JP, Anya is JP, Miko is EN

Anya: "First time?"

Hearing them all struggle to say Mercy in an English accent was so adorable.

Of course IRyS’ Japanese is good.
She’s ranked above Miko for Japanese in the Holomem standings!

@Insane_Kane 3 years ago

The way she responds with EN Dayo instantly shows the fluency lol

IRyS: Hello Miko from HoloEN.

Miko: Hello IRyS from HoloJP.

I remember an older clip where IRyS swapped from JP to EN and after all of the JP members in the call were in awe of her English skills she had to remind them that she was an EN member. I feel like the only reason why she hasn't been hit with the "she's actually a JP member" meme like Anya and Bae is because the fact that she actually lives in Japan makes it less funny.

I like how Chloe tried to just speed run her intro

IRyS is just as much as JP as Miko is EN, Anya is JP, and Bae is JP.

We have a whole gen full of people who were originally placed in the wrong gen, like holotori, haha.

Towa: "Wait you're from EN?!"

Bae: "Don't worry Irys, you'll get used to it"

@Rubysage1 3 years ago

It's always funny that some EN and ID members speak better Japanese than actual Japanese people xD

many people might not know this, when it comes to 'front operation' (meaning when they streaming with us, the audience), cali and irys are EN. But when it comes to company financial area, like internal operation, both of them would listed as JP, because they live in JP doing tax and go studio and making musical records in JP. That's why Towa was so shocked, she must thought irys is cover's stand-alone musical project, just like AZKi, which is JP. 🤣 I mean for us she's obviously EN, we know her as EN all alone, but for people who works at cover, they saw her on JP payroll for all these years, you know, they could mix things up. :oops:
