It's funny, the moment she said it's a "daddy longlegs" every Australian and most Americans relaxed immediately.
They're very harmless.

Bae: "My spiders name is Ken."
Mari-Sui: "Funniest shit I've ever heard."

Gotta love the drastic contrast in personality when it comes to “confident cool-beauty Suicopath” vs “bug fearing vegetable-anti Suichan” ww

The way she talks about Ken really makes them seem less scary. Or from my interpretation, she has a street fighter spider named Ken.

Sumikkogurashi no Ken😂

Ken is not a given name, but a surname. It's the surname of a line of daddy long-legs that have been entrusted with the protection of that corner of the room.

i love how suisei was panicking when she saw the spider but when bae says it gets rid of cockroaches everyone agreed that ken was in service of the greater good

Marine is SOOOOO good at keeping each person involved in the conversation it's unreal

I just have to say this. This whole offcollab was a gold mine for clippers.

1:20 even in a scream her voice is very melodic

Ken is a title for the spider honored to protect Bae. Passed through generations to ensure her safety.

"It's not poisonous",  Bae in her mind: "It's venomous"

"it has long legs"
Suisei: EMOTIONAL DAMAGE

Some australian spiders are like the headcrabs from half-life.

Guess we know what breaks the diamond that's Sui's professionally calm demeanor.

So the term  Bae uses for cockroaches here is "G", which is a popular contraction of the Japanese word for cockroach, i.e. "gokiburi", for when you want to refer to the thing but don't want to call out its full name. Since Bae describes it  as "Dekkai G", that makes it "Big G", which sounds kinda gangsta.

Also RIP Ken o7

Fun fact; Australian cellar spiders (daddy long legs) can live for decades so it's possible its the original Ken :)

I still love how they call Bae. Hakotaro. Such a fun nickname that immediately got adopted by all HoloJP.

I love the way Marine screams "KEN!" at 1:54 lmaoo

I vacuumed my room every week and mob it every 2 week or so, but i can't never bring myself to kill the spiders since they solve my ants and mosquito problem. Now they have lived with me through many generations
