if this channel becomes a josh johnson channel, i wouldn't even be mad 😂

Guarantee that everyone under the age of 40 who is mad about this was bumping Despacito all 2017

What's funny to me is that even if Bad Bunny can speak english perfectly fine, he can speak spanish the whole thing and we have the technology for live translation, but Americans don't have the attention span to be able to read and watch a show at the same time

44:40 Josh is what the culture feelin

The “This You?” Comebacks in 10-15 years are going to be delicious. 😂

"They love to take your culture but they don't love to take you" 🔥🔥🔥put that in a song Scru

I've been to a Josh Johnson show in Grand Rapids. Usually, he's the closer (so yeah, the headliner). A few people will come on first to warm up the crowd, and then he'll do his set. But his sets are LONG. Like, over an hour. And it's always different cuz he commentates on current events. So it's always fresh.

Which is crazy cuz most comedians have their lineup of jokes and only deviate a little from them. That's why they don't record their stuff. Cuz in each location, they tell the same jokes.

“You blacked it” is a whole entendre, but you gotta be a freaky bull to get it. Iykyk 😅

Here’s my no pickle moment:

The other day, I was walking out of the grocery store with a really full cart. I’m an Instacart shopper, so these were not my groceries- I should be so lucky.

Anyway, there I am pushing a heavy cart that is hard to steer because of all the crap in it.

A lady was coming the other way, walking towards me. Now, in my mind, the correct etiquette is that the person unencumbered by the heavy cart, takes the step to the side. Mind you, we are IN A PARKING LOT, not restrained by the shelves of an aisle. We are in the open.

And this woman, who is making eye contact, is clearly younger, and is not, keep in mind, pushing a cart loaded with someone else’s full month of groceries, DOES NOT MOVE. She just kept walking right at me.

And I finally moved. And it piiiiiiiiissed me off so much. I started muttering to myself as I loaded up my vehicle. “God forbid you take a step to the left. NOOOOO. Gotta make me steer this thing out of YOUR way.”

And… I started to tear up. I thought, “It just seems that I’m basically invisible and don’t matter to anyone. Other people just do whatever they want and I try so hard to be a good person, yet they matter more to others.”

And I had this moment where I kind of paused and thought, “Oh. This is no longer about her not moving so I could pass.”

We all have that “there’s no pickle on my burger” meltdown to some degree at some point.

"I understand Xenophoba is the meta right now." is too fucking true. Get 'em Scru!

50:19 Scru tapping into his “First They Came” bag in real time and I’m here for it. Crazy what people say about “history” and “repetition” and what not…

I am Black, and I've lost count of how many times someone from the US has told me I'm not Black, but Brazilian. And many, many times, they were Black people. Yes, I am Brazilian AND BLACK.

You right about diamonds though like who tf is like “damn these diamonds are real but I wish they had more human cruelty attached to them”

I have seen people say they want an American artist at the superbowl like AC/DC not realising AC/DC is Australian

16:49 I so glad you spoke about this,  in South Africa there is a race of people called the coloured( basically black and white mix) its an official government name and Americans still saying they can't be that, like wtf

I agree…EVERY race has bigots even against a different  part off their own country culture or colour. It. Is an ignorance  that. only leads to tragic consequences . Respect brother…keep preaching!!!❤❤❤❤❤

For those not in the know here is a quick primer on the different ways of organizing groups of people Screw mentioned.

Race: Refers to broad phenotypical (Hair, skin, and eye color/shape/et cetera) variations historically concentrated in certain parts of the world. "Black," "Asian," "Arab," "Northern European." Modern anthropologists dislike this term outside of specific contexts (such as explorations of race relations in the U.S.) because it implies that the phenotypical differences (like skin color) have inherent social or behavioral effects tied to them (which is untrue, and has been scientifically debunked since at least the 80's). Importantly, notice how I used "Northern European" instead of "White" in my earlier example. This is because the "White Race" as commonly discussed in internet forums is an American creation in opposition to "lesser" races, meaning it has always been exclusively  rather than inclusively defined. Examples of "races" that were not considered "White" but became so later are the Irish, Italians, and (after a truly hilarious court case where the defense brought up Jesus Christ Himself) Arabs.

Ethnicity: Refers to various phenotypical, cultural, religious, and social elements that bind a community together. This can be broad, like "Black Americans," or narrow, like "Black Americans from Philadelphia." The classic example of an ethnic group are the Hebrew people, who have very specific cultural, religious, and genealogical elements that make them who they are, one can be Jewish but not Hebrew, and Hebrew but not Jewish, or both. Another classic example was more or less manufactured in the 60's or 70's. "White Anglo-Saxon Protestants" or "WASPs" were put forward during the Civil Rights era as the "True" founders of American Culture. While it enjoyed some popularity for a time it largely fell out of use by the late 80's and 90's as it was simply not inclusive enough for all those now considered "White." Catholics had always been a major part of the U.S., whether they were German, English, Irish, Italian, Polish, or Hispanic, and most of those groups were legally considered white during Segregation let alone after. Not to mention the plethora of non-Christian religions that exist. Nowadays the equivalent would be the more inclusive (but harder to define) "White Evangelicals."

Nationality: Refers to your country of origin. Some people might have "Dual Nationality" or be otherwise "Poly-national" but this is rare. This is the clearest cut of the three as it can usually be used interchangeably with "Citizenship" though some people prefer it to be used only for those places a person grew up in, so Picasso could be considered to have two Nationalities, Spanish and French, but since he grew up in Spain and fled to France to escape Spanish Fascism he is usually considered a "Spanish Ex-Pat" rather than both French and Spanish.

Bonus! Ancestry: Refers to a Nationality or Ethnicity in an individual's family history, but not currently part of an individual's Nationality or Ethnicity. For example "I have Irish Ancestry, you can tell from my last name, O'Connell, but my family's been in Boston since the Tea Party." In this instance thy hypothetical speaker is a black man from Boston, and probably identifies as another ethnicity, but is still proud of their ancestry.

As someone who is Puerto Rican and Dominican, it is so funny watching people lose they mindssss. They really just mad at two things, 1 that someone who is the antithesis of the current administration is performing again, they back to backed it, first dot now bad bunny, and 2 they mad that a Afro Puerto Rican now has the stage to show the madness the U.S has done to the whole of the Caribeann for years. I hope that Bad Bunny shows how unified we all can be if we just see our similiarites and not our differences. Cuz my family has been here for so many generations, fought in every war for this country and people still won't RECOGNIZE us, and say go back to your country, I appreciate you heavy Scru, you help me increase my knowledge and I hope you spread the good word to everybody else on this platform, Peace and Love cuz.

3:39 exactly. They will get mad for anything that they dont like.

Screw it, next year Jay-Z should go all out and bring a K-pop group to the Super Bowl 🤣
