U2 All I Want Is You (Slane Castle 2001 Live)
Lyrics
You say you want
Diamonds on a ring of gold
You say you want
Your story to remain untold
But all the promises we make
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you
You say you'll give me
A highway with no one on it
Treasure just to look upon it
All the riches in the night
You say you'll give me
Eyes in a moon of blindness
A river in a time of dryness
A harbor in the tempest
But all the promises we make
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you
You say you want
Your love to work out right
To last with me through the night
You say you want
Diamonds on a ring of gold
Your story to remain untold
Your love not to grow cold
All the promises we break
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you
You all I want is
You all I want is
You all I want is
You

You guys need to do the full reaction of this song which transitions into where the streets have no name from the same venue. Bono’s dad died just before this concert.

@JoeFurniss1 2 years ago

This song transitioning into where the streets have no name at this concert is no doubt the greatest transition of songs in history.

@seamustheplatypus 3 years ago

Guys, the people demand the full reaction with the transition to the next song.
This is very serious.
Should you not comply, there will be a riot. 🧐🙂

@shanghaiffgg 3 years ago

unbelievable......the transition is one of the most emotional parts of music history you were seconds away from it

@stevebrewin2731 3 years ago

Nooooo!!! Never stop that video there!!!

@NorwayMan36 3 years ago

It should be illegal not to see the next song....;)))

@frasermcampbell 3 years ago

you just stopped before one of the best song transitions on tape

I was at slane castle this the best concert I've ever been to remarkable night. Slane was an outdoor gig how could you have a castle in the background in a stadium.

You gotta check out U2's Bullet the Blue Sky live in Paris 2015. It's fantastic!

@kdmcollegebd2012 3 years ago

I've loved them for 40 years. Since, the first time I heard them with their frosted tips and mullets! ❤

@sabinasabina2010 3 years ago

lol The sweetest thing is a U2 song written when Bono was in the doghouse with his wife.

@toniboydston2744 3 years ago

You have to see the live version of “with or without you” where he takes a young girl out of the audience and lies down next to her on the stage. So moving.

Danced to this song at my wedding 2 years ago. 😭❤️

@YourLoyalDeserter 3 years ago

You need to react to both this and Where the Streets Have No Name from the same show, the song after this. Neither is complete without the other, they must be experienced together.

@TheDovahkiin87 3 years ago

Please!! The transition!!! One of the biggest goosebomps i ever had

@bonolee07 2 years ago (edited)

Bono wrote this song from his wife Ali point of view….pure genius and the song me and my wife danced to at our wedding 🥰

Man I love your reactions, I know these songs backwards, they are the fabric of my life and from a time when U2 guided a generation of lives yet seeing you discover them somehow makes watching them great all over again! try do a reaction to U2 and Pearl Jam (UJam) doing Rockn in the Free world if you ever get the chance.

@brendanfromireland 2 years ago

I can't believe that video ended there without showing Where The Streets Have No Name

@christianreynolds9252 3 years ago

This is like the game of thrones of reviews . Brilliant until the ending 😃 that song transitions into where the streets have no name . Unbelievable transition. You need to check the full clip out . Love your u2 reviews

Try Bad live aid or every breaking wave from the ema’s 2014

If u want to see the song Bono wrote when he was in the doghouse check out “the sweetest thing”. I think he forgot his wife’s bday. It’s a funny video that has his wife in it
